Is it possiblefor the periods to be late if this medicine is taken just Four days before the periods start.

My blood sugar (hb1ac) was at 6.8% as of December 2015 and in April 2017 the hb1ac was at 5.3%. Are there any side effects or contraindications against diabetics taking Hicet-DC? I had it prescribed by my doctor.
