What is the difference between XL Bupropion and SR Bupropion ## The XL stands for extended release, while the SR stands for slow release. Both pills are released over a longer period of time, although I'm not sure why two similar variations exist. This is something I have been curious about to with many other pills. But I would assume that the XL and SR Bupropion are manufactured by separate companies and it may help to distinguish between certain brands if needed. This is just my educated guess, but it may have nothing to do with that. If it's really bugging you I can look up the manufacturer(s) if you have the imprint of the pills handy. I would probably suggest contacting the manufacturer's of the pills for more scientific reasoning behind it. Hope this helps!

small an peachy ## I doubt this is a prescription medication. Typically, prescription meds do not have so many letters, and they usually (not always) have numbers as well. I would guess this is either over the counter or from another country. ## Nothing I recognize or find reference to, either. It could be an abbreviation they read on a docs scrip or med bottle that stands for something, and they want to know more about it, and they poster has just assumed that all such things are universal, as some do, and they think we should know what they are talking about. If you look at some older posts on here, you will see more instances just like this.
