Heritage brand Metformin did not work for me, but I took it for months and developed blisters around the outside of my mouth which is not herpes. Now back on Ascend Metformin and it is working for me. The blisters and inflammation are lessening but not completely gone. Has anyone had this problem and know what it is and how to treat it? ## My blood sugar numbers were very high when I was on Amneal and Heritage brand Metformin.
