Has anyone experimented with alternatives to baclofen for alchohol cravings. I'm doing pretty well on 5HTP and I'm wondering if there are others. ## 5HTP, also referred to as Oxitriptan is an essential amino acid, which is needed by our body. It helps regulate things such as Seratonin and Melatonin, which are both brain chemicals and if someone is lacking in them, as can be caused by alcohol or drug withdrawal and can cause the cravings, they can be severely effected. Therefore, it does make sense that they can help people with some forms of withdrawal and the associated cravings, since it will help keep a better balance of these chemicals in the brain. Does anyone have experience using this?

Smells herbal or tea like. He complains of back and nerve pain, but hasn't seen the Dr. He takes blood pressure pills. That's the bottle they are in. An old blood pressure pills script bottle. About 20mm long. No marking. Smooth on outside. White. Inside is brown. Couple it be pain pills from Mexico? Marijuana pills? Weight loss? Impotence? ## Hello Curious, According to the [1] FDA imprint regulations t...

Will it be safe for me to take slimming capsules while i'm using Nuzak? what is the effect of Natural Herbs on Nuzak? ## Is it possible to put extra weight on while using Nuzak. I am trying to loose weight but it is not easy. What can I use to loose weight fast. ## Nuzak contains the active ingredient Fluoxetine, which is an SSRI antidepressant. Thus, when it comes to using natural herbal products to lose weight, you should check with your doctor, or pharmacist first, because they are some that can interact with SSRI drugs. Have either of you spoken to your respective doctors about the best weight loss plan for you? ## I've been on Nuzak for the last 2 years and suddenly started picking up weight like there's no tomorrow not sure if it is the Nuzak but remembered that my doc...

Is losartan a statin? My blood pressure is high and they changed my pill from perindopril 4mg to losartan potassium 100 mg. Now my blood pressure is even higher and they have given me bendroflumethiazide 2.5mg. Can l take an herbal remedy such as co-q10? ## No, losartan is not a statin. It is an angiotensin II receptor antagonist drug used mainly to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). Among the benefits of taking CoQ10 supplements is helping to maintain healthy blood pressure levels that are already within the normal range. This should not be confused with the treatment of high blood pressure which falls outside of the “healthy blood pressure” category. While there is good evidence to support the use of CoQ10 in the treatment of high blood pressure, this should only be...

Used to help breath better. A herbal supplement to rejuvenate, replenish and refresh repertory system. Helps anyone with COPD or asthma. ## @Lawrence, Thanks for the heads up on this natural respiratory supplement! I did a little research though and actually found a customer review stating that there's an identical product by the name of AirAid which supposedly has a cheaper price tag per bottle with the same amount of milligrams per capsule. So if you're still in the market for this type of herbal respiratory supplement I'd recommend comparing prices with AirAid first to see if it's truly a better deal. Have you had any success trying it thus far?

Are there any contraindications about taking Amox Tr Cl 875-12 and the herbal supplements MinTran, Ferrofood, Chlorophll Complex, VS-C, and Prionex? ## Since the antibiotic, which is a generic for Augmentin, is a prescription medication and the others are just supplements, they aren't actually tested for interactions between each other. Learn more Augmentin details here. In most cases, such things are considered to be safe, but you should double check all warnings and information just to be on the safe side. Do you take any other medications or have any health conditions?
