I'm a 48-year-old married female with 2 kids. I have a severe pain in my left heel and need advice on what medicine to use for relief as well as what might've caused this sort of pain? ## Hi there. Sorry to hear about your situation. How long have you been dealing with this sort of pain in your left heel? In order to know how to treat it and what could've caused it, one would need more background information and/or medical evaluations that could take a closer look at the problem. Generally, pain medication is an obvious thing to turn to for relief, but determining which one to take may be dependent upon your ability to consult a doctor and get a prescription or whether you'd prefer to resort to OTC & natural alternatives such as turmeric, kratom, cannabis, etc... I have acute pain in my heel(lower side) for about a fortnight. Will numulid tablet help? ## Hello, BanaBabu! How are you? It is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, so it may help alleviate the pain. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach irritation. However, it would be best to have your foot checked out, because this will not solve the underlying problem that's causing the pain. Is there anything else I can help with?

-Heel is imprinted on the round white pill. If you look really close you see a few turquoise specks here and there. Pill seems grainy. ## traumeel a holistic pain medication ## Actually, it could be one of a number of products made by this company. They seem to have several that are similar and they all have the marking HEEL on them. They are all, however, over the counter, homeopathic remedies. It is possible that Jen is correct and recognizes the particular tablet if she has seen or purchased them. The Traumeel tablet contains: Belladonna, Arnica montana, radix, Aconitum napellus, Chamomilla, Symphytum officinale, Calendula officinalis, Hamamelis virginiana, Millefolium, Hepar sulphuris calcareum, Mercurius solubilis, Hypericum perforatum, Bellis perennis, Echinacea angustifolia, and ...

My heels are very painful. When I sit down and get up again, I almost cannot walk. So bad is it. I had a bleeding ulcer some months ago so what can I use that won't harm the stomach again? ## Hello, Fred! How are you feeling? Sorry about the pain that you're in. You may have heel spurs and, if that is the case, they will most likely need to be removed by a doctor. It happens when small pieces of bone from the heel of your foot break off. Many will eventually work their way out on their own, but it is very long and agonizing process. Have you consulted a doctor? Simple x-rays will reveal if that is the problem and then your doctor can help you find a solution. ## Hi Verwon Thank you for the reply! These heels are still very painful. I went to see a doctor last week and he gave me...

I broke my leg 2 years ago and now have a heel spur, arthritis on the top of my foot and a pinched nerve aka CRPS (Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome) in my ankle. I am hopefully getting a spinal cord stimulator surgically installed in a couple months. I truly don't know how much longer I can handle the pain. I take 16mg of Suboxone everyday, I want to ask my doctor if he can switch me to a strong opiate for the next couple months and then switch back to Suboxone but wean off in a week instead of long term maintenance. I know Suboxone helps with pain but surely an opiate will be stronger? ## Yeah it definitely would, I don’t think you can easily make the switch though. I know that when I withdrew from regular pain medication withdrawal was over in a few days, I mean it took a full...

I have been diagnosed with herpes zoster attack to my arm nerves and still not recovered from the nerves pain. does neurobion infection helps heeling the nerve to ease the pain? some says it's not good while suffering herpes zoster. ## Neurobion contains Vitamins B1, B6 and B1, so it is a supplement. It will only help with pain, if it is caused by being deficient in one of these vital nutrients. Since Herpes is not caused by that, it is doubtful that it will provide you with much relief. Is this what your doctor wants to use? ## with reference to the above reply related to Neurobione injection. My dermatologist recommended the injection and said it will ease the pain in my arm from the herpes zoster but my neurologist said not to take the injection and that it will not help. I also ...

I have been taking naproxen for heel pain but whilst on it i got a really bad dose of head cold and also took a cold and flue capsule. I experienced a tight chest( probably the cold ) and became a little breathless with exertion, so I stopped taking both. Doctor said I had a chest infection and gave me antibiotics. After my cold cleared up and i finished the course of anti biotics i started to use the naproxen again and once again noticed breathlessness. I have now stopped taking them as it is mentioned to be one of the side effects, I wonder how long does this drug remain in your system, as after 30hrs without them i still feel a little breathless. ## Hello, Jackie! How are you doing? No, it shouldn't still be causing it that long after taking it. Have you ever had high blood press...

I have been managing pain for quite some time, from 2 broken hips and a shattered heel. I've always been on hydro 10-300. I looked at my new scrip and it said "hydro 10-325". I was wondering if my physician switched me up to a higher dosage because I just sprained my wrist. I have been hurting and limping lately since the sprain.... Is the 10-325 stronger? ## Hello, Alb! How are you? The only difference in what you've listed is that the one has 25 more milligrams of Acetaminophen in it. The Acetaminophen helps the opiate to work better for some people. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else ...

I have been on Xarelto for just over 3 months. I have pain in my right heel that is extremely painful to walk on. A doctor diagnosed it as plantar fasciitis. Is this another side effect of Xarelto? ## It is not listed as a known side effect by the FDA. The typical side effects of Xarelto are listed as possibly including nausea, easy bruising, increased risk of bleeding, headache, and joint/muscle aches. As of now, according to current research, medications haven't been known to cause Plantar Fasciitis, however, that doesn't completely rule them out, either, since we learn new things every day. Are you on any other medications?
