I've been taking 50mg Tramadol, recommended as a "safe" long term medication for my Tail bone pain. Recently given sample pack of green and yellow Tramadol capsules. My heart feels weird with some light pains, Could the yellow/green Tramadol be fake or ingredients differ from the white tablets ? ## Hi Lucy! Anytime you feel like something may be affecting your heart, you should have it checked out by a doctor immediately. While there's a good chance that it's nothing, the risk of it being something dangerous is far too great to be posting on a free website and waiting for an answer. It is most likely some gas or acidity from the capsules, they probably contain some different inactive ingredients than the tablets, but I really can't stress enough how important it ...

After taking this for just 2 days, my ankles and then feet started to swell. I became short of breathe and soon had a hard time climbing stairswalking and talking at he same time. By day 5 my feet ankles and calves had balooned and my chest started to constrict, I became sweaty and had chest pains, my abdomen swelled, i felt exhausted. I called the nurses line because my feel and legs were so swollen and tingly i could not bear it. She told me that iI was experiencing heart failure. I was rushed to the hospital where they did serveral tests. My heart rate was very low (42 per min) and I had fluid in my lungs. After 20 hours in emergency and 14 tests, they concluded that it was the Noroxin. I went off the drug, my swelling went down, my energy level is returning. Please be very careful w...

I had a heart attack on 9-26-16...I was doing decent afterward for several weeks. I decided to go off effexor 150mg. after 10+ years. The reason is because effexor can cause high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and weight gain, all in which I have problems with and especially now I need to control them more. I've been tapering for a month with mild withdrawal, some days better or worse than others. Mostly irritability, vertigo, brain fog, tired all the time, yet I cannot sleep. Headaches come and go and quite a bit of body, muscle, joint aches. What's concerning me at this point is my chest is very sore, left side. I'm wondering if the tapering is causing discomfort? As of 2 days ago I decreased again and am down to 37.5. I thought I'd be feeling a lot worse, maybe tha...

My husband got 2 teeth broken down to gum. He was in so much pain he went diving through medicine cabinet found old darvocet from 1997 took 2 of them. I'm freaking out since I saw date on them. Will these hurt him should I take him to hospital have his stomach pumped? Help im scared! ## No, they don't turn into anything toxic, once they're expired. They just start to lose efficacy, so they don't work as well as they would have when they were new. The best thing to do is to keep a close eye on him. This medication was pulled from the market by the FDA a few years ago, because they do create a risk of cardiac dangers, though it's usually only temporary, while someone is being treated with them. So, if he starts to experience an erratic heart beat, or anything, then he...

Hi, I have been taking Miralax for 4 years and never had a stomach problem. I eat the same thing pretty much everyday because I am a diabetic, and have not taken any new meds. The last few days though immediately after taking 2 tsp's with 10oz of water as usual, at the usual time in small sips, I got heart burn. Last week I chugged the whole 10oz down as usual and in the pit of my stomach I had very bad cramping, so when I started sipping it down I did not get cramping, but got the bad heartburn. ## It is possible for almost anything to cause heartburn. Other side effects may include nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea, according to FDA reports. How are you doing, now? Has there been any change? Are you on any other medications? ## Hi, thanks for the reply. Well, I tried chugging d...

About a year ago my dr prescribed flecainide 100mg twice daily started taking it at home no warnings of problems I was diagnosed with palpitations. It was working nearly perfect. Now a year later and fifty pounds lighter (done on purpose)I'm struggling with near constant fluttering ,skips, occasional pain and numbness. Everything I read says this drug is for serious problems. Went to the ER recently was asked why I was on it. I'm now really worried. I feel awful half the time. Should I worry? ## Hello, Sus! How are you doing? I'm sorry about the problems that you're having. Have you stopped taking it? Have you consulted your cardiologist? Unless your cardio feels there is something to be concerned about, you're probably worrying needlessly. Many people take this medic...

HII CAN ANY1 TELMEE DA ANSWER OF MY QUESTION MY HUSBAND TKE CONCOR TWICE A DAY 1 TABLET IN MORNING AND 1 IN NIGHT IZ IT OK OR ANY SIDEEFFECT???????? ## All medications carry the risk of side effects, even over the counter products, however, what you have to keep in mind is that if he has high blood pressure, it is far more risky to let his condition get out of control. Concor contains the active ingredient Bisoprolol, which is a beta blocker that is used to treat hypertension and some cardiac conditions. Side effects may include: nausea, headache, weight changes and stomach pain. Learn more: Are there any other questions or comments?

I haven't seen heartburn listed specifically as a side effect, but have been experiencing a lot lately. I have not previously had a problem with this. Also have a lot of tingling in right hand, maybe associated with some disk disintegration that was a problem 15 years ago. ## Hello, Meg! How are you? It has been known to cause various gastro-intestinal issues as side effects, according to the FDA, even ulcers in some rare cases, so heartburn isn't actually surprising. It can also cause some pain and musculoskeletal issues, but it would be best to have that checked out by your doctor to be safe. Is there anything else I can help with?

Hi, I am trying to find a pm that doesn't require injections. I've had every kind and the last 4 or 5 put me in the hospital because of heart and diabetes. Now current pm ended up with legal trouble because of her husband. Next thing I know she's saying my urine came up with methadone, which is impossible I've never ever taken it. She cut me back instead of released me. But if she really thought i was screwing up I bealive she would have released me. So before I'm left without I need a new compassionate doc in New Jersey. I am 50 with multiple issues that all cause pain. ## Methadone clinics can do wonders for you why not give that a try best of luck

I have been to a neurologist and have tried every medicine he has prescribed. One he prescribed makes you feel high for 2 days so you can't sleep. That's no good! Another feels like your having a heart attack. There is a long list of others! The best results I have found are inj's. of nalbuphine/nubain. I can take the inj. and sleep for a couple of hours. Then I can participate with my family life. When I asked my neurologist about Nubain he said I would need to go to the the hospital, which is $1,200 a visit. (I pay my bills and want my credit to stay good) There are doctors that prescribed these inj's. at home. I have met some online and know one personally but not in my area. I want help!! It's sad to miss your daughters piano recital because you are suffering fro...

I have a pink, heart shaped pill. It has either BPI above the number 20, RPI above the number 20, or some letter PI above the number 20. I have no idea what it is. I used to abuse pain pills, benzos, and other stuff, and I've never seen anything like it. Anybody? ## No, in all my years of researching and identifying pills, I have not come across this, before, either and I am not finding the imprint, or anything similar listed in any of our U.S. prescription medication databases. Was it found in the U.S.? I am thinking it is probably a prescription medication that is manufactured by MEDA, they use the BPI logo and are known for making unusually shaped tablets. For instance, they have a Lorazepam on the U.S. marked that uses a large, capital A on one side of the tablet to form the sha...

What are you blood pressure numbers? The FDA classified this medication as a beta blocker. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain, increased urination and hypotension. Are you on any other medications? Have you informed your doctor? my father has been prescribed oramorph as and when required he has severe heart failure and a large build up of calcium around his altua valve he coughs continually and causes pain if he took this every time he coughed. Could this be an overdose and kill him? ## Hello, Trevor! How are you? I am very sorry about your father's condition. However, it has been found that when patients have such severe conditions, providing them with such medications in higher doses, or dosed more frequently doesn't hasten death. Now, if he were to take a dose every single time he coughed, if he was coughing rapid fire, then it could still be too much. In most cases, unless a couple hours have passed, if he just waits a few moments after coughing, things will settle back down and the pain will taper ...

Heartburn, also known as pyrosis,[1] cardialgia, or acid indigestion[2] is a burning sensation[3] in the chest, just behind the breastbone or in the epigastrium, the upper central abdomen.[4] The pain often rises in the chest and may radiate to the neck, throat, or angle of the jaw. Heartburn is usually associated with regurgitation of gastric acid (gastric reflux) which is the major symptom of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).[5] It may also be a symptom of ischemic heart disease, thou...

Bad heart. Few yrs back had the normal 4-5 stints and then a 4way bypass. About 6 months later they put in a pacemaker defibrillator. Nothing abnormal for almost 2 yrs and then running late for a plane, behind packing, suitcase broke, etc I was driving to airport and bam took a defib shock. Thought I had been hit by another car. Then took a second shock about 3 minutes later. Well the 50K defib had saved my life. But a new problem took hold. I was basically dying and being shocked back about every other month from then on. Trust me it's not fun. You get where you can tell about 14 seconds before you are going to pass out (forever) if the defib unit doesn't work. It's also painful. Like getting kicked in the chest by a donkey. My heart doctor put me on .25 Xanax 1 in am and 1...

I have acute Sciatica & also have a heart condition. Will Coxflan relieve the Sciatica pain & will there be any problem with my heart condition? I am 71 & battling with the back & leg pain. Thanks for any help. ## Coxflam contains the active ingredient Meloxicam, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory and no, these are not usually given to heart patients, because of the dangers that they can present to someone that has an existing heart condition. NSAID can cause fluid retention, which can result in complications, such as congestive heart failure. In addition, congestive heart failure has been induced by large doses and long-term use of some NSAID medications. My doctor has instructed me to stay away from all of them and said the only thing I should use is Acetaminoph...
