Years ago my doctor gave me a big oval green pill for heartburn. I took it for several months and eventually the heartburn went away and i didn't have it for years. Its come back and i would very much like to find that pill again. Unfortunately, i don't know the name or any numbers on it. Just that it was green, oval and a big tablet. ## Hello, BJ! How are you? You can find both Pepcid and Zantac over the counter in name brand and generics. Some others available over the counter that also have generics out are Prevacid and Nexium. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, stomach pain and f...

Most likely its molly or something in that class. ## Hi suzie, Based on my research I think Kevin may be on to something with his guess on molly. I actually came across a photo of round light green pill with an embedded heart logo on one side and a score on the other; which was also identified as such. I'm not sure about the triangle shapes you mentioned, but a few things to take note of in this particular pill are the texture (i.e. chalky?), smell, and even the taste or dimensions if you ...

I found this pill laying around my house. It is green and has N010 imprinted on one side and is scored on the other. ## I believe that Betty is correct - a round green pill with imprint N010 corresponds with Propranolol 40 mg (NDC 16714-023). This drug is classified as a Beta Blocker. Medline Plus states "Propranolol is used to treat high blood pressure, irregular heart rhythms, pheochromocytoma (tumor on a small gland near the kidneys), certain types of tremor, and hypertrophic subaortic stenosis (a heart muscle disease). It is also used to prevent angina (chest pain), migraine headaches, and to improve survival after a heart attack. Propranolol is in a class of medications called beta blockers. Is this safe for have an anxiouty attack with blood preasure really strong on my left arm down to my hand, even so the veins ar swolen in my left hand, but not at all in my right hand. ## Teva lists this tablet as containing 1mg of Clonazepam, which is most commonly used to treat anxiety, and nervous disorders. Its typical side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, and irritability. The FDA also warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming. As to the left arm, I would suggest consulting a doctor, those symptoms could be signs of some other possibly dangerous conditions, such as a blood clot, or a heart attack, or a stroke. ...

I found several dark free, circular pills with either a M or W printed on one side. No imprints on the other side. Can you please identify? Thanks. ## Hi concernedmom, Based on the description provided, I've identified your pill as a 240mg Mylanta tablet, containing a combination of aluminum hydroxide + magnesium hydroxide + simethicone. The correct marking is actually an "M" as you first mentioned. Mylanta is an over the counter antacid used for treating symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease; including heartburn, gas, and acid indigestion. And for verification, the manufacturer is reported to be Johnson & Johnson/Merck Pharmaceuticals, who seem to be on some sort of joint venture. I hope this helps!

went to the emergency room for high heart rate and was diagnosed as panic attack. Just recently had open heart surgery. Is this the right medicine for me. ## Clonazepam is a Benzodiazepine derivative, it is often used to treat anxiety, panic attacks and nervous disorders. As to whether or not it is the right medication for you, there is really no definitive way to say, as your complete medical history, as well as other medications you are taking should all be taken into account. There is nothing listing it as being contraindicated in heart patients, but you should consult with your regular doctor, to be on the safe side. Have you done so, yet? This medication may cause side effects, such as: nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Learn more:
