Heart Cholesterol

I have been prescribed 20mg zuvamor. Cholesterol at 6.2. Started taking half a tablet then moved onto taking a whole tablet. I am experiencing heart palpitations and shortness of breath. Thickening of my tongue at times too. Pain in my back and chest. Tingling in my limbs and my ears are ringing. Should i continue with the medication? ## Hello, Amz! How are you feeling? Has there been any change in your symptoms? Most of what you've mentioned are listed as being possible side effects of this medication, as reported by the FDA. Except the tongue thickening, that's not normal and may be indicative of a bad reaction to this medication. Have you informed your doctor? You may need to try something else.

My doc has advised ROTUMAC 10 THRU OUT MY LIFE TO BE TAKEN FOR MY ENLARGED HEART. I AM ALSO AN ASTHAMATIC . I have Aorta Stinosis, in 14 days i am having open heart surgery to repair the aortic valve. My Doctor advised me to stop all anti coagulants (blood thinners), I take one 40mg ATORVASTATIEN (astorvastatien) once day. Do I continue with this medication prior to my operation. I am a heart patient. My cholesterol is under controlled by taking one tab of above in the evening after food/fruits. I am also under treatment for diabetis (two tabs of 30mg Diamicron MR in the morning}. I still suffer from pins and needles in my lower legs especially when I walk or do light exercise/swim. I am also on Casprin 100mg and high blood pressure pill (Atenolol 100mg daily). Is the combined "mix" OK? ## I'm sorry, what medication did you mean by one tab of the above? In 2009, I was diagnosed with minor heart disease with high cholesterol (203) and have been taking the following medications daily: Clopivas 75Mg, Storvas 20Mg and Seloken 50Mg. Over the past 5 years, my cholesterol has been around 110. Recently, my fatigue level and constant aches and pains have increased despite daily 3-4 mile walks. I have taken plavix 75, lipitor 20 and carvedilol 6.25 daily since I had a stent put in my heart in 2008. I don't have high bp, but it was to my understanding these drugs are to keep cholesterol low and to help with the stent. Is bioflu ok to take? Do you have any suggestions?

I had a heart attack on 9-26-16...I was doing decent afterward for several weeks. I decided to go off effexor 150mg. after 10+ years. The reason is because effexor can cause high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and weight gain, all in which I have problems with and especially now I need to control them more. I've been tapering for a month with mild withdrawal, some days better or worse than others. Mostly irritability, vertigo, brain fog, tired all the time, yet I cannot sleep. I have undergone angioplasty in 2005 after a heart attack. I am taking atorva 20 mg, deplatt 75 mg, ecosprin 75 mg. My cholesterol, triglycerides, are normal. I am not diabetic nor I have high BP. In 2011 I vomited blood and also used to pass blood in stool. I was in icu and I was told I have an ulcer in stomach/intestine region. I am taking pantodac 20 mg and iron tablets daily. My hb now is 13.4 gm%. What can I do to avoid further ulcers formation. Is there an alternative for ecosprin. It can be allopathic or homeopathic or ayurvedic. I was prescribed Lipitor 20mg (never had high cholesterol Ramipril Details Are there any other comments or questions? ## Maybe this will help: I had an NSTEMI in August and Ramipril is part of my post-hospital regime. (Also diuretics, aspirin etc. and beta blockers. Seven pills a day!) I take Ramipril 2.5mg once a day. It is not only for blood pressure: the effect on that may be minimal. According to my doc, beta blockers make more of a difference to that.
