Hi, i am suffering from epigastric pain and these are the tablets which are given by the doctor for 6 weeks; and even though i am taking this tablets, sometimes i use to get sounds in my small intestine and i can observe that some bubbles are formed in my small intestine. Hi everyone, I'm a sufferer from hypothyroidism; I was just wondering about how to take Levothyroxine; because I began taking it as one tablet of 25mcg....working up to two...then three...and then finally four 25mcg tablets, at which point a blood test told me through my doctor, that my thyroid was now apparently working well. I figured it would be OK for me now to take just one tablet, of 100mcg, rather than four ( was given a choice of both types). So once my 25mcg tablets started running to run out, that's what I did. However, whether I imagined it or not, I found myself happier on the four X 25mcg than the one X 100mcg. Is this normal? Should I worry? I have more or less run out of the 25mcg tablets for the time being...any suggestions what I might be going through, and what...

Thank you ## Hello, David! How are you? I'm very sorry about the problem that you're having. Klonopin is not a narcotic, the FDA classifies it as a benzodiazepine that is most commonly used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders. Typical side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability and dry mouth. It is, however, a controlled substance, so most general practice clinics will not prescribe it, because it carries the risk of being habit forming and is frequently abused. Thus, ...

Hi, I was prescribed fluoxetine to help with Menopausal problems about six months ago. I'm only on a very low dose and they've really helped with my mood. In fact so much so that the happier I am in myself the more I fear death. I suffered with post natal depression with both of my boys and occasionally had an intense fear of dying. I wouldn't say I spend loads of time thinking about it but more than normal I imagine. Does anyone else feel like this? I'm very content with my life and family and logically I know that I shouldn't give it time, life's too short to worry about something you can do nothing about but I can't seem to help it. I'm wondering if I should try and "face it" and think about it more or try and ignore it and carry on being happy...

I am a 69 year old male who experienced upper gastric pain and was prescribed Mucosta t.i.d. times 7 days. After the very first dose of 1 tablet I began serious side effects: hypertension, constipation, inability to concentrate and panic attacks related to my inability to stop the effect of the drug. Depression and inability to experience happiness, or pleasure. I suspect my hypersensitivity may be related to the fact that I have genetically evolved essential tremor for which I have taken Corgard/Nadalol 40 mg for the past 20 years. WHAT IS THE HALF LIFE of Mucosta? I was given a 40 mg dose of Pantoloc which I also stopped taking after the first pill. I switched back to Omeprazole 20 mg which I took before with no problems and it seems to have ended the gastric pain.

I'm a 17 year old Junior in High School and I have been taking 70 mg of Vyvanse for longer than I can remember, even before 7th grade. Recently my boyfriend has been telling me it's making me depressed. I can usually tell when my medicine has worn off and one night I was acting happier than usual because of that. He told me I should just stop taking it, but my mother who's recently been very controlling tells me otherwise. Would it really be that bad to just drop it? Also, out of curiosity, i often forget I take my pill and end up taking a second one. How much is too much? ## Hello, Himeko! How are you? The best thing to do, regardless of what your boyfriend or your mother says, is to go discuss the problem with your doctor. They are the best qualified to advise you on this....

U name the drug iv been on it. At 53 im more suicidal than ever. Money does buy happiness. Will explain more later ## Sorry to hear about your suicidal intentions cherrub53. I used to have similar thoughts while I was in a severely depressed state of mind and in no way did I think I'd ever get out of it; but as time passed, so did my situation along with the negative way I used to look at it. Life is all about growing and learning from each experience to the next. Bad experiences can all change once you begin to look at your situation from another perspective. Obviously it is easier said than done for most people, but if you keep an open mind and see yourself in a different situation by slowly making changes to your current way of life, I'm sure you will notice a more positive s...

I started on wellbutrin and was happier and thinner. Then Kaiser switched me to generic Bupropion because they don't cover brand name and ever since I've experienced worse depression, gained weight and have constant edema in stomach and legs. I'm really concerned about this. Doctors and pharmacists are always too busy or distracted to listen to questions or find answers as to WHY this is, so I'm done. I'm going off and never coming back to these drugs. I guess I'll start with St. John's Wort and Bacopa. ## I find it sad that doctor's and pharmacists couldn't take a couple minutes of their time to answer this question for you on the spot.
