1 Topic FoundNorco is the brand name by Watson for 10mg Hydrocodone and 325mg of acetaminophen, they also make the generic. Norco is yellow in color and caplet shaped.Originally it was only 10mg, now it's 7.5 and 5, hydrocodone and the same Tylenol in all. Has no codiene in it. Hydrocodone is a semi synthetic drug, a ketone of codeine and is 8 times stronger than codiene, mg to mg.has a more sedative effect and has a half life of 3.8 hrs compared to codiene's 2.5 hrs. ## I've been taking Norco, 10-325, for over fifteen years on an occasional basis because of back pain due to auto accidents, surgeries. I take the same ammount now as fifteen years ago. I alternate between Norco, and Tylenol - also on an occasional basis, so I don't develop a tolerance to N. and have to increase the dos...
