My partner bashed me in the head and started the onset of complex partial seisures. I have tried Tegretol, Epelim & Topamax but all cause hair loss. I have stopped taking all medications for now and would like to find a drug that stops hair loss. My hair has started to grow back after stopping all drugs 8 months ago. ## If it has finally started growing back, then it may just be best to let it do it naturally, without medication interference. However, one that is used to increase hair growth is Spironolactone, it is used to treat many medical conditions, such as high blood pressure, as a diuretic, to replace potassium and etc. Hair growth is one of its side effects. You can learn more about it here: I've been taking the lowest dose available, for my blood pressure and low potass...

Is there anything else I can help with?

from few month my hair start falling every day while coming my hair.Dr prescribe me konaz shampoo and mintop 10% to use .But there is no result while using these medicne . ## If the medication is not working for you as prescribed, then you probably shouldn't continue using it. The stability of one's hair can't just be treated from the outside if the issue is an internal factor; such as being deficient in certain nutrients that make hair strong. What it really comes down to, in my opinion, is what changes you may have made to your dietary habits or lifestyle before your hair began to fall out? It may not seem like a big factor, but your body can respond to these stimuli in a variety of different ways, whether the change is negative or positive. Figuring out the underlying pro...

Has anyone tried keratin treatment on Tarceva effected hair? I was on Tarceva 18 mos and the hair is so unmanageable ## Hello, Becky! How are you? I'd suggest seeing a beautician, before trying anything. You need to know what the issue is with your hair, if you add Keratin and it already has too much protein, that will just make it even worse. Thus, you really need an expert to let you know if it is lacking in protein, or needs more. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thanks for the reply. She just said sure I could do keratin but I don't know if she thought of it on a cellular level. This is helpful because I see my Dr Monday and will ask him what makes for the kinky , dry texture.

I don't have any money for anything but for diapers wipes and stuff my twins needs,My hair keeps falling out and I need this so my hair will grow back I know that you need to make a profit but please will you guys help me out ## Hi Maile, I'm not sure what you're talking about as far as making a profit goes, but this site does not manufacture or sell any products. It's simply a platform for people with medical, health and wellness inquiries to communicate with one another. On that note, Kera-veda hair grow oil is only $12.95 on amazon by Lotus Herbals.... so I don't see how pricing could be too much of an issue in this day and age? Oh my goodness...I am a mother of two. 5 and 10 years old. I think stress was the leading cause of my heart acting "crazy". Just general stress. I have had an irregular heartbeat from childhood. Landed in the ER with terrible ekgs. Doctor put me on metoprolol 25 mg. twice daily until I see the heart doc. Before hair was falling out a tad...mind you I am a hairdresser, but this is terrible! Been on metoprolol 1 month and I am going bald in the front, fast. I am 31 years old. :( ## You should contact your doctor immediately, this is actually listed a serious side effect of Metoprolol, it is usually signifies more serious ones occurring and you will probably need to be switched to a different medication. I also had very bad reactions to Metoprolol and had to switch. A similar medic...

I have been suffering from pcod. I consulted doctor and he prescribed me krimson 35. I took it for 6months. After consuming it for 3 months, my hair started falling. I am having a severe hairfall. My hairs have also become thin. The strength of my hair has become one-fourth of its total strength. I can see bald head in some parts. I want to know can I get back my lost hairs? Its been 1year since I am facing this problem. Can I get back.my hair? Will my hairs grow thick? Please reply me please. ## That can be a side effect of this medication, along with nausea, dizziness, headache, PMS-like symptoms, and irritability. But it could also be due to your PCOD, according to NIH studies. And yes, once the problem is resolved, of the medication stopped, your hair should gradually return to norm...

I took invega once 2 months ago. Now it's thinning the back of my hair. Will it ever restore again? Thank you. ## Hello, Fitsum! How are you? If you've not taken it for two months and only took it once, they it wouldn't be causing side effects, such as hair thinning, now. The FDA lists its typical ones as possibly including nausea, dizziness, somnolence, acid stomach and weight gain. Are you on any other medications?

I have been on xolair for over a year now. After the first 3 months of treatment, I lost a lot of hair during the next few months. Much more than the normal nightly loss but doctor denied that xolair had anything to do with it. I know better. Hair loss stabilized around the 6 to 7 month period. I'm very lucky to have had a lot of hair to begin with or I could have been bald by now. ## Hello, Mark! How are you? Hair loss has been noted by the FDA as being reported in post-approval use. Since it's not listed among the typical side effects that were compiled pre-approval, then your doctor may not be aware of it. Other side effects are listed as possibly including dizziness, ear pain, joint/muscle pain and dry mouth. I'm glad it stabilized for you. Are you back to your normal lo...

My current problem is hair loss & I wondered if anyone else was having that problem? ## Hello, Gracie! How are you? No, this isn't listed from what I can find, but I'll check a couple more sources to be sure and post back. Are you on any other medications? How old are you? ## I'm 57. On no other meds except evista and a pill for reflux. I Lost over 50% of my hair while I was taking Eliquis. Will my hair regrow now that I no longer take this medication ## Hello, Maggie! How are you? That is a listed side effect of this medication, according to user reports noted by the FDA. It may also cause headache, increased risk of bleeding, nausea, and easy bruising. Yes, in most cases it is reversible, but it could take a few months to see a change. Are you on any other medications?

hi im deepthi.. Im using vtamin e capsules .. Daily one capsule for muscle strength. I gave birth to a baby now he is 4 months old. I hav lot of hairfal and my skin texture became so dull.. Please tell me how this vit e capsules help me for hairfal and skin ## Hello, Deepu! How are you? Congratulations on your son! :-) The changes to your hair and skin are normal for having given birth just a few months ago. Its because you build up so much of the hormone progesterone, while you're pregnant, then it suddenly drops off, when you go into labor. In a few more months, as your body recovers and your hormones rebalance, things will start to go back to normal. The vitamin E is good for your skin and it may help a little there, but it won't do anything for the hair loss. As I said, that...

I have been on Eliquis since November 2015 for aa A Fib attack. I am experiencing extreme hair loss, with some areas that are bald and others that are quickly thinning and at this rate will also be bald. I am a female and used to have enough hair for 3 people. I also have the leg weakness and stiffness issue. I am more freaked by the balding than anything else. ## Hello, Mary Lou! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem you're having. It isn't a listed side effect reported by the FDA, but it has been reported by other users, primarily females. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and easy bruising. Have you consulted your doctor? It might be better for you to try a different medication. ## The other side effects are not a problem. ...

My age is 22 years and I have been experiencing hair loss since two years but was ignoring it. I thought it was some transient thing and would go away with time. Recently I visited a Dermatologist as the hair loss/thinning and she has prescribed me tugain 10% along with androanagen and follihair tablets. She has also asked me to get blood tests done. I had B12 deficiency for which she has given me nurokind plus plus (syringe once in a week for 4 weeks). I have been using this prescription from past 3 weeks and my hairfall didn't stop rather It has increased considerably. Should I stop using this medication or Is it common to have hair fall in the beginning stage of this course?. Is there any side effects from Follihair Tablet like WEIGHT GAIN? ## Follihair is just a nutritional supplement that's claimed, but not necessarily proven to help with hair loss. As such, it has not been studied for side effects as is done with actual prescription medications, but some people may experience nausea from taking them. Learn more dietary supplement details here. Has your doctor advised you to take it?

Hi I recently broke my hip, I'm 25 and have been given eliquis to take. It's been 6 weeks now and I'm experiencing my hair start to thin and fall out including my eyelashes. Does anyone know how long it takes to grow back or how long after stopping taking it, your hair stops falling out. At 25 losing my hair is pretty distraught, I could deal with the constant insomnia, low blood pressure and nausea but not this. ## That can be a normal side effect of this medication, according to NIH reports. Are you also taking any others? I have had that happen from medications in the past, so I understand how upsetting it is. You should probably talk to your doctor about trying a different medication.

Can you tell me if extreme hair loss occur from Eliquis? I have been on it since last November for an AFib attack. The hair loss is extreme and I already have areas that are bald with other areas thinning quickly. My hair dresser is alarmed at the speed this is happening. I also am having trouble w/my legs, as in weakness and stiffness. I know that that is a symptom. ## Hair loss is not a known side effect of Eliquis. Ref: Hair Loss Monitoring Study The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, headache, easy bruising, increased risk of bleeding, as well as the weakness, and stiffness that you mentioned. Were you ever given a different blood thinner, such as Heparin, or Warfarin? They can cause hair loss. Have you ever had Covid 19? Hair loss is also a symptom of ...

After discontinuing Viibryd, has anyone noticed their hair NOT becoming thick again? I've been on 60 mg for about 8 months. My hair is now falling out by the handfuls.. I have an appointment to see my dr. next week but I'm terrified my hair won't grow back! Not to sound self centered or shallow but I adore my hair! Had I of known this was a side effect I'd never agreed to try this medication. I'm terrified, as I've already stated, but I am also angry that this information isn't given by drug reps who push these meds! I pay 277$ a month for this RX & now have to worry about withdrawals, my hair possibly not growing back & adjusting to a new medication. Any replies are welcome & will be appreciated! ## Hello, Amanda! How are you? I'm very sorry ...
