My partner bashed me in the head and started the onset of complex partial seisures. I have tried Tegretol, Epelim & Topamax but all cause hair loss. I have stopped taking all medications for now and would like to find a drug that stops hair loss. My hair has started to grow back after stopping all drugs 8 months ago. ## If it has finally started growing back, then it may just be best to let it do it naturally, without medication interference. Oh my goodness...I am a mother of two. 5 and 10 years old. I think stress was the leading cause of my heart acting "crazy". Just general stress. I have had an irregular heartbeat from childhood. Landed in the ER with terrible ekgs. Doctor put me on metoprolol 25 mg. twice daily until I see the heart doc. Before hair was falling out a tad...mind you I am a hairdresser, but this is terrible! The FDA lists its typical ones as possibly including nausea, dizziness, somnolence, acid stomach and weight gain. Are you on any other medications?

I have been on xolair for over a year now. After the first 3 months of treatment, I lost a lot of hair during the next few months. Much more than the normal nightly loss but doctor denied that xolair had anything to do with it. I know better. Hair loss stabilized around the 6 to 7 month period. I have been on Eliquis since November 2015 for aa A Fib attack. I am experiencing extreme hair loss, with some areas that are bald and others that are quickly thinning and at this rate will also be bald. I am a female and used to have enough hair for 3 people. Hi I recently broke my hip, I'm 25 and have been given eliquis to take. It's been 6 weeks now and I'm experiencing my hair start to thin and fall out including my eyelashes. Does anyone know how long it takes to grow back or how long after stopping taking it, your hair stops falling out. At 25 losing my hair is pretty distraught, I could deal with the constant insomnia, low blood pressure and nausea but not this. ## That can be a normal side effect of this medication, according to NIH reports. Are you also taking any others? I have had that happen from medications in the past, so I understand how upsetting it is. You should probably talk to your doctor about trying a different medication.

Can you tell me if extreme hair loss occur from Eliquis? I have been on it since last November for an AFib attack. The hair loss is extreme and I already have areas that are bald with other areas thinning quickly. My hair dresser is alarmed at the speed this is happening. After discontinuing Viibryd, has anyone noticed their hair NOT becoming thick again? I've been on 60 mg for about 8 months. My hair is now falling out by the handfuls.. My hair is falling out and I think it is from taking tramadol for the past 5 months. Only took one 50mg tablet a day. I'm wondering if oxycodone would do the same thing? I started Contrave on August 1st and was up to full dosage by September 1st. I've been battling side effects, headaches, nausea, motion sickness, insominia and now I've noticed a lot of hair loss. I'm experiencing a significant amount of hair loss at age 71 which has been going on for a year or so. I use 1/2 gram of Premarin vaginal cream once weekly. I started the Enbrel and the Angelique at about the same time and don't know what is causing this sudden hair loss. .
