Here is an interesting story. Obviously I cannot validate it too much but wanted to throw this information out there and see if anybody else has heard of it. Basically about 6 years ago an Asian coworker friend of mine was mentioning that some of her friends had gotten prescriptions for Xalatan in order to grow facial hair. I came to learn that Xalatan is primarily used to treat the eyes, not cause hair growth! Good evening. I am a hair dresser and I have a client who's hair is growing in so thick. The only medication she is on is Losartan. She started taking the medication 1 year ago. You can absolutely see the difference. All I keep reading is this med can cause hair loss. I also know there are some blood pressure meds that can help regrow hair. I'm very curious if anyone can put some light on my question. I have found that Biotin Forte is a good vitamin if you want your hair to grow and repair. They use this Biotin Forte on Cancer patients, after surgeries and so on. It is usually $12.50 over the counter, and I've tried the Vitaline brand - 30 capsules @ 5 mg. Seemed to have positive results. ## Hello, Jenni! How are you? My partner bashed me in the head and started the onset of complex partial seisures. I have tried Tegretol, Epelim & Topamax but all cause hair loss. I must say Dinintel is the best diet pill out there but I lost the strength in my hair. ## Thinning hair is a reported side effect of taking Phentermine, so clobenzorex (the active ingredient in Dinintel), being a close relative, could possibly cause it.
