I found this pill.. it's scored, white, ovular, I only have 1/2.. the number ends in 719 ## The pill which you are describing - white, oblong (capsule type shape?), scored, with imprint NL719 is a cold remedy containing: Dextromethorphan HBr 60 mg Guaifenesin 800 mg Pseudoephedrine HCI 90 mg An equivalent brand name is called Proten Forte DM, and is manufactured by Neil Labs.

Can my 3 year old take over the counter cough medicines while on prednisolone? ## HI Renea, If you let me know which exact cough medicine you are thinking about giving your child, I can look up the exact ingredients and check for any interactions. However, I did run a preliminary google search to see if Prednisolone can be combined with any of these common OTC cough medicine ingredients: Dextromethorphan, Codeine, Guaifenesin, Pseudoephedrine - and found that there are no unsafe interactions. What can replace Novahistine DMX cough syrup? Nothing helps now since they discontinued this syrup years ago. Taking them individually also doesn't work. DMX helped within 5 minutes. ## When you took them individually, were they in tablet/capsule form, or liquids? Since a cough syrup is liquid, it is normal for it to work fairly fast, but tablets, and capsules tend to take a bit longer to take affect. Novahistine DMX contained Dextromethorphan, Guaifenesin, and Pseudoephedrine, and this combination is available in a couple other products, as well, such as Robitussin Cough & Cold D, and Maxifed DMX. There are sold in several countries as the generic or store brands of common over the counter items. OTC items are not required to log their imprints with the FDA, like prescription medications are.
