I would like to know what will happen to the range of INR value if green leafy vegetables are eaten? Does thinning happen or thickening of blood happen? ## I suffered with DVT in left leg in 2007 and under gone treatment with Acitrom and Heparin. For two years I continued and stopped the pills. Again in 2014 I had the problem of swelling in left leg and on consultation with surgeon I was asked to take Acitrom 2 mg, Evion, and clopitab daily. Slim Trim was pulled off the market because it was reported to contain Sibutramine. I began taking this product in May 2014 and lost 25 pounds by August of 2014. I maintained my goal weight by going from two pills, to one a day from August to November. So very disappointed the product has been removed and am now gaining again. One pill was listed as 250mg. It was sold by Floyd Nutrition and the main ingredients were Bee Pollen, Chinese Yam, Barbary Wolf, Aloe, Lotus Leaf, Cassia and Senna. Is there something in addition to pills that I can do to help me with Parkinsons? I am 79 years old and I am mobile, fairly clear of mind, stiff in my joints, loosing my balance and falling occasionally. I was put on Warfarin after a stroke in 2003. I worked very hard to keep my INR just right, it takes a lot of work. Eating green leafy vegies drives the INR down, so you would have to add higher daily dosage to get it back. If it gets to high they will tell you to stop taking for a couple days. Shortly after starting to take Warfarin I noticed discoloration on lower legs (my chemical tan). Then a little over a year later I started having headaches that were not normal. My mother is on coumadin and can't seem to get regulated. Her arms are very sore and bruised because of all the blood tests. She was just told to cut down on leafy green vegetables.
