Can the green and blue pill marked with c 39 be used for a kidney infection? I think I might have a bladder infection. ## It is manufactured by Aurobindo Pharmaceuticals and they list as containing 150mgs of Clindamycin, which is an antibiotic that can be used to treat various types of infections, but it may not be the appropriate one to eradicate the bacteria that has caused your infection. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea. Did your doctor prescribe this to treat your infection?

Seeing as to how this is not in the same class of prescription drug as Xanax but both are used to treat anxiety, is this just a more mild form of Xanax when talking about the effectiveness in treating anxiety?? ## Forgot to mention the pill I'm asking about is 25mg hydroxyzine ## Hello, Joe! How are you? The FDA actually classifies Hydroxyzine as an antihistamine, which is also used to treat anxiety due to its sedative like effects. However, since it's different, it doesn't tend to be habit forming like a benzodiazepine. Its typical side effects are listed as possibly including dizziness, drowsiness and dry mouth. This means it is most likely an over-the-counter medication; OTCs are not regulated the way that prescription medications are such that their imprint codes are not required to be catalogued. There is a chance this medication may be from Walgreen's because a related discussion thread for a was identified as Wal-Som (Diphenhydramine 50 mg) from Walgreens. With that said, it has also been reported that the P30 gel cap was found i...

It was a half red and half green capsule, I think white powder form inside. I was about 8 years old. I remember my right cheek being swollen . I was in the hospital over the weekend , 2 or 3 days. I had a tube connected to my mouth. I guess doctors thought it wasn't a good idea for me to have any solid food so I wad fed through this straw. I did have a nurse though, that would come and visit me and take me to the break room to have some sandwiches and or anything safe other than tube food , so I obviously could chew. filled with orange powder...no markings on the outside of the capsule ## Sorry, there's really no way to ID a pill without an imprint. All Rx and OTC drugs in the U.S. are required by law to have an imprint; otherwise it could be a vitamin, herbal, energy, diet, foreign or illicit. Do you have any suspicions as to what you think it could be (based on where you found it or whom you may have received it from)?
