To be sold legally in the US, all prescription drugs, including generics must have unique imprints for ID purposes. If it has no markings, it has to be either a foreign drug or something available over the counter, and therefore is impossible to positively identify. ## not true. If it is from a compounding pharmacy , it can be in a plain capsule.

(NDC 00045-0229) Manufacturer: McNeil Consumer Healthcare The imprint "TY S CP" stands for "Tylenol Sinus Congestion & Pain Daytime" ## I am not 100% certain, but it sounds like a Tylenol Rapid Release, they all have the TY marking, followed by other markings on the other color. The gray band is meant to allow the medication to release faster, so you don't have to wait as long for them to work.
