The one with the S 902 marking is made by Dava Pharmaceuticals and they do list it as containing 1mg of Alprazolam. The green verses the blue .1mg has to have a difference in strength. Ive taken the blue ones for many yrs due to very high anxiety. People that say thats impossible may be the crazy ones bc there is a diff. However, post # 1 is correct about the possibility of either dosage varying by plus or minus 20%. From what I understand, that's the amount of wiggle room generic meds are allowed to have. Furthermore, this doesn't even take into account the different inactive ingredients (including their quality), which play a known role in how well we metabolize/absorb the tablet as a whole. I hve been on 1mg alprazolam for 20 years. They have always been blue. Just got a perscription and was green. It does not have the same effect. I only take at night.with no side effects. ## What are the markings on the tablets? Hi, I found a bottle of pills. They are white rectangles, four sections divided by three scores, blank one side, GG in first section, then 2, 4, 6 in the sections below. Is this Xanax? So I have been on Greenstone Alprazolam for over 10 years through CVS. I always take them as prescribed. Never abused them. They always worked quickly and brought me down from any attack.. Out of the blue 3 months ago CVS doesn't carry them anymore. I tried the new brand they had (Dava), and they were awful!. Did nothing for my Panic Disorder. So Greenstone told me to go to a Ma and Pa Pharmacy, so I did and they ordered them. I was elated. So I get them and took it right away. American generics in general have a pretty poor reputation in the rest of the world, and are priced higher than brands in almost any other country. Alprazolam has been removed from the UL NHS and is only available as Xanax brand - probably higher priced than in the US! We are forced to access our alps from other countries, the finest being found in Belgium, Argentina & Serbia. I have tried several US alps, kindly sent by kindred spirits there, but only one, the 1 & 2mg by GREENSTONE, were any good at all. Sandoz' GG249 are amongst the poorest I've had. I have been taking Greenstone Alprazolam .25 for a long time. Once they gave me Dava and that was awful. Now they gave me Caraco, and I am afraid to start it. I know Greenstone is Classified as A. How is Caraco classified? ## I'm not sure what you're referring to as the classifications. When they are manufactured to the standards as set by the FDA, all generics are considered equal and to be of top quality, so there is no rating system that's used for them. If you want your life ruined, then go on and take it. Your anxiety will increase 100 fold when you try to come off those things in a couple of years. And you WILL want to come off it. The side effects gets you so bad. And then when you try to get off you WILL go through HELL! Trust me, I have been there, done that. PLEASE, rather take something like green tea extract (L-Theanine) and keep yourself away from the Benzos. Just do a Google search on Benzo withdrawal syndrome and see for yourself.
