I am 58 years old I am sugar patient, BP is normal. Currently I am taking insulin 30 min before breakfast 25 units and after breakfast 1 glycomet sr 500 plain tablet. At night after dinner I am taking 1 glycomet at 500 plain tablet. Now I don’t want to take insulin. Shall I take glycomet gp1 one tablet 30 min before breakfast instead of insulin and after breakfast 1 glycomet sr 500 plain tablet and night after dinner 1 glycomet sr 500 plain tablet. Please suggest..

I am 62 been a diabetic for 7 years. Taking Gemer 1 before breakfast and glycomet 250 in the night after dinner. Now doctor has prescribed Glycomet GP2 morning and Glycomet 500 for night. The quarterly average sugar level was 7.75. 4 years ago and 7.45 2 years ago and it is 7.40 tested 2 weeks ago. If this is a good progress in reduced average why should i be prescribed a more powered medocone. Also i missed info of i should take the two tablets before or after food. My Mother is diabetic fasting 150 and PP 277 as per the machine and she is taking Glycomate GP2 once in the morning before breakfast and second before dinner, she is of 74 age, is it better to continue or any change should be there as earlier she was taking Glycomat GP-1 and after doctore prescriptio it is changed to Glycomat GP2. Ihad been taking Pioz 15 with Wallaphage 850 on the advise of my doctor for last 8 years after dinner ;but when I found my fasting level at 160 and PP level at 270. I consulted another doctor who only advised me to take Glycomet-GP 2 Forte before breakfast and stop Pioz and Wallaphage Suddenly during noon and evening I feel very nauseous and gulp down food at hand to avoid the nausea.This may not be helping me reduce my diabetic levels..please advise ## What is the Diffrence between glycomet gp1 and gp2 forte?

I have been prescribed Glycomet GP 2 forte(morning and evening) vobose 0.3(before food in morning) path 15(night) and atrova asp 75 (night). Is there are any side effects of using the medicines. from last 4 yrs i am suffering from Diabetes , my sugar level : 240 PP and 180 Fasting, taking GP-1 Now my doctor has changed Glycomet 500 and dianorm M 80. Dianorm M 80 in morning and night before food ; and Glycomet 500 in lunch after food. You pl suggest for using both tablets and what is the side effect or suggest any alternative drugs or can I opt for taking insulin to control diabetic.
