Last june i.e 2010 june i have under gone scanning and many test such as harmone,thyroid as i have irregular periodsand all the reports were normal(no PCOD), i used ovacare tablets for 2 months but periods were not regularised.Now when i again consulted doctor as we are planning for baby doctor prescribed me fertomid 50mg(5tabs),gluconorm sr 500mg(30 tabs),ebexid(30 tabs).I wanted to know why i was prescribed gluconorm and ebexid even though i am not diagnoised with PCOD or hyper thyroid..please clear my doubt..thank you..

Me & my wife are both Type II diabetics and take Glycomet 850 SR. I find that the tablet does not dissolve in the stomach whatsoever and I pass it out in the morning. I have been seeing both, the afternoon (500mgSR) and evening (850mg SR) tablets in the stool. Is this normal??? Whom do I complain about this??? To USV???

What are the differences in Glycomet GP1 Forte and Glycomet GP2 Forte? ## They both contain Metformin and Glimepiride, however, the difference is in the dosage of the Glimepiride in them. Aside from the 500mgs of Metformin, the GP1 contains 1mg of the Glimepiride and the GP2 contains 2mgs of it. My fasting sugar is 90 and pp is 101. My doc has advised me to take glycomet 500mg at night after a meal. I'm 34 weeks pregnant. Is it needed? My sugar level has suddenly gone up to more than 400. After taking metformin 500mg 3 tablets a day, still it does not go down below 200. So I tried glycomet GP2 two tablets per day. I found slight improvement within a day - i.e. it has come down to 130. Shall I continue it? Hello, My doctor prescribed me Zomelis Met 50mg/500mg (Vildagliptin 50mg & Metformin 500mg) for my diabetes. The same doctor prescribed Galvus 50mg/500mg to my mother and the same doctor prescribed Glycomet to my wife. I am very confused about all three medicines.
