I am taking Glycomet 500 S.R. for last 1.5 years my insulin was high and i have pcos also..simultaneoulsly, i have hypothoriod also..i m taking this medicine daily after dinner. The doctor advised me to take the same life long. Kindly suggest me to take long time this medicine is ok for me or it will create any type or problem or sideeffect later on. Is these diseases will create any problem after marriage and during perceiving. My sister in law took the same treatment for PCOS. She stopped it after getting pregnant. Now she is facing pregnant sugar in later stage of pregnancy. So keep continuing. Yes i do have irregular preiods and reason for that is am suffereing from PCOS...mt gynec has prescribed me this. she has asked me to take this 1000mg per day.. I have a PCOD problem for which my doctor has suggested Glycomet 500 SR for 3 months. I have been doing exercise regularly during the last 15 days that I have been taking this tablet. Can I donate blood if I am on this medication?
