I am suffering from Blood Sugar for last three years. Was on Homeopathy. Shifted to Allopathy last week. July 2011 HbA1c was 8.6, Sept 2011 HbA1c 9.1. Been advised Glyciphage 500 - 2 Tabs per day. Is it okay ? Please confirm. ## side effects of glycipage

I was prescribed Glyciphage 1gm SR after breakfast daily by my Doctor: I am diabetic and have high blood sugar: 120 after fasting and about 150/160 two hours after meals. ## Whether glyciphase at 1gm should be taken after breakfast.I am diabetic and BP also

I am a diabetic(type 2) since last 20 yrs. at present my dose of medicine is Glizid MR 60 morning and evening as well as Glycophage 1g morning and evening as well as .5g on lunch time. still the pp is coming high even the morning time it is low sugar ## I am taking VOLIBO M 0.2 morning and evening since last three months ,Still my suger fasting is 150 and pp is 197 kindly suggest suitable medition.

I used to take glyciphage G1 but after getting my gallbladder removed the hospital doctors prescribed me glyciphage sr 1gm. This new tablet is coming out with my stool... What should I do? ## Hello, Anu! How are you? Since this new medication is time released, that is normal. The medication is released and used by your body, and just the outer shell is expelled in your waste. The NIH lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain, flatulence, and diarrhea. Is there anything else I can help with?

I AM USING GLYCIPHAGE 500 MG TWICE DAILY. BUT SUGAR LEVEL AT PP WAS ABOUT 150. DOCTOR PRECRIBED Pioglit 15 Mg ONCE IN DAILY AFTER BREAKFAST ALING WITH SAID GLYCIPHAGE 500 MG . I am taking above medicines. BP is controlled. Before adding metolar XR50 about 3 months ago, My BP was 140/90 only for two days. My BP is getting very low. I am also diabetic taking zoreyl3, einselin2, glyciphage 6(500) mg. My sugar got low to 54. I stopped the medicines for diabetes as per dr for 2 days. Itake 75 mug thyroxine and t3 t4 TSH are well maintained. My pathological reports for kidney, chlorestal, HDL,LDL,Etc are within limits. ## Amlogard contains the active ingredient Amlodipine. I was diabetic 2 and in the beginning prescribed Glipermide and Metformin but later it was suggested Metformin is not suitable if Uric acid is 1.5 or more, I had to stop it and was taking Glyciphage G1 but did not control sugar. I was suggested to take Insulin (First Insulatard and then Novomix 30) and Trajenta 5. This helped in controlling sugar to some extent. But some times I had spurt of FBS and RBS. PlS suggest any recent medicine for Diab 2 ## Does novamix 30 works better with metmorfin or with glimpride since I discussed with people they shared it works better results

I feel tingling sensation or I may call it numbness on the left side of my neck below/near my left ear at times. It is not very frequent nor at any regular interval nor at any specific time. Th length(from down to up) of the area is approximately 3". This prblem is for the last about 4 - 6 weeks. I take Glyciphage SR regularly 1 daily plus one Loprin 75. I also take Absolute 3 G regularly. I am anxious to know what do these symptoms indicate.
