I follow the celiac diet and after taking this barfed all day :) thx ## Without knowing the manufacturer of the tablets in question, I cannot tell you what the inactive ingredients are in it. Can you please post back with that information or the imprint from the tablets, so I can look it up? APAP is just medical speak for Acetaminophen, but Hydrocodone is a narcotic pain medication and it can cause nausea and vomiting as side effects, so it is hard to say why you might have gotten sick. You can read more about the medication here: ## the generic is not gluten free. brandname vicoden is GF

R-Tanna mfg. Prasco LA ## As a person with celiac, it is imperitive for me to know definitively if a drug (generic as well as branded, OTC as well as prescription) contains gluten or not. Some manufacturers are good about clearly disclosing this. Others are not, and trying to find out requires an incredible amount of time and effort. Why can't the FDA simply require manufacturers to make this disclosure clear, either on their labels or on their websites. If some can do it, why can't all?

Dears, I have celiac disease and I need to know if Deanxit pills contain gluten? Thank you. ## Hello Isaac, Unfortunately Deanxit is not an approved drug in the United States as it has been found to be too risky of a medicine. Because of this the drug you are asking about is not something I am able to easily research and find information on, however, I am able to provide a little bit of useful information that may help you find the answer. Deanxit contains the two active ingredients Flupenthixol and Melitracen, both of which are salts and will not trigger anything gluten related. Where you may find issues is with the inactive ingredients of your particular prescription brand. To find out if your drug contains any gluten products, simply look at the inactive ingredients listed on the pac...

Are meloxicam tablets (with an imprint of "ZC 26") gluten free? I have celiac... ## Yes, these tablets contain no ingredients that would cause them to contain gluten. Along with the active ingredient, they are listed by Zydus Pharmaceuticals as containing crospovidone, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide, trisodium citrate dehydrate, povidone and micocrystalline cellulose. The FDA classifies this medication as a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that's most commonly used to treat pain, fever and swelling. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach irritation and increased risk of bleeding. Is there anything else I can help with? ## HEY! Great news! Does Savelle have Gluten in it? ## Does Savella have gluten in it? ## Hi Paula, In order to determine whether or not a medication has gluten, one would need to contact the manufacturer for a list of the inactive ingredients. Do you perhaps have a pill imprint or name of the manufacturer that you could provide? I may be able to find this information out for you if I have those details.

Is Ranbaxy Rx atenolol gluten free ## is the medication atenolol gluten free ## It is not listed on any of the gluten free websites as being safe and gluten free, so while I am not sure about what all ingredients would be considered to be derived from gluten, or have gluten in them, I would have to suggest that it might be safest for you to stick with one from a manufacturer that is known to be gluten free. There is an Atenolol on the market made by Novapharm that is listed as being completely gluten free, so you should check to see if your pharmacy can get that one in for you. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Is atenolol gluten free? My pharmacy cannot get Novapharm Atenolol!

Is there gluten in the Orthovisc injectable? ## Hi Diane, From what I was able to gather, the product labeling does not list their inactive ingredients (which may or may not include gluten). Further administration precautions note the following: "Orthovisc Precautions: Before using hyaluronate, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it; or to bird proteins, feathers, or egg products; or if you have any other allergies. This product may contain inactive ingredients (such as latex found in the rubber syringe cap of some brands), which can cause allergic reactions or other problems. Talk to your pharmacist for more details." Since the product labeling is very vague, I think it would be best to just follow those guidelines and contact your local pharmacy for more info...
