Does this pill contain codeine? ## The imprint that fits your description of a round pink pill is actually "GG 235" as opposed to "GG 225"; which is round and white. This pink pill is Promethazine hydrochloride (50mg); which is an antihistamine primarily used to treat allergy symptoms. To answer your question though, Promethazine in and of itself does not contain any codeine; nor does this pink tablet. I hope this helps to answer your question!

It also has a score line in the center of the pill that separates GG and 225, while it remains blank on the other side. That is the closest I can find. It is now manufactured by Sandoz Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 25mgs of Promethazine, which is most commonly used to treat, or prevent nausea, and vomiting. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth, and headache. Can you please double check the imprint and post back?

Need info on a round pill with just 225 on it, no letters. No GG. No other numbers. Other side has 2 lines like a cross and that's it. Searched high and low. Again nothing but 225. Thanks. ## The 225 scored pill (round yellowish in color) derived loose without bottle. No gg as labeled. A website called Vista Pharmacy is mailing these pills and using a fake identity for them. It would really help all the people they're mailing these pills to.

What is the difference between the Phenergan pills marked zc 02 and gg 225 ## These are both the same medication and same dosage (Promethazine hydrochloride 25 mg). The only difference I see is that they are manufactured and/or repackaged by separate companies. Other than that, there may or may not be different inactive ingredients in the pills. If you have an allergy to certain inactive ingredients in one pill, then you can always switch to other, if that is in fact the case. Hope this information helps!
