Is It Safe To Take Nuzak And Concerta together
1 Reply RSS
My son was placed on Concerta 72 mg & nuzak 20 mg. He feels his heart racing & breathing increased after taking this combination. Could this combination of medication really be safe. ## Actually there can be a possibly dangerous interaction between the two medications. The Methylphenidate in the Concerta can cause increased levels of the SSRI Fluoxetine that's in the Nuzak and that can cause the type of adverse effects that he's experiencing. Learn more Concerta details here. Learn more Nuzak details here. You need to report this issue to his doctor, this is probably not the right combination of medications for him to take. I just stopped taking sprintec 2 days ago (after taking it for 4 months) because I'm wanting to get pregnant, and I started my period today. I heard I had to wait til my first normal period, do I still have to wait for another period? Or is it safe? ## You should consult your doctor. As I said in response to your other post, it is sometimes best to wait a few months, to ensure that your body is regulating your hormones on its own, again, to help improve your chances of a health pregnancy. Is there any way to get the manufactor of roxycodone to fill my prescripton...jst curious I no purdue does it with the oxycontin..plz hlp...vey hard to find in jax fl,or very exspensiv..thnx ## They don't fill prescriptions, per se, what they have is an assistance program for people that don't have prescription coverage that need the medication they manufacture. In such cases, the person can apply for their program and, if approved, their doctor faxes a signed prescription each month, then their medication is shipped for them. Learn more Oxycodone details here. Thus, even such a program for Roxicodone is only of benefit, if you don't have any prescription coverage. I have fibromyalgia and take many meds, but the ones I seem to need the most are the pain meds, i.e. Lorcet. Does anyone know how to find H-86? My son is fast approaching his last days. Thank you. ## Hello, Barbara! I am so sorry to hear about your son. Unfortunately, no there is no available information on H-86 regarding what it actually is or where to obtain it. There have been many people that asked, after an email newsletter was sent out making some amazing claims about it and a few other substances…. and I have searched repeatedly, both in paid and free sources to see if I could find one verifiable scrap of research or information on any of them and I am sorry to say that I have come up completely empty. I think it's really awful, because it has raised a lot of false hope for people like you and your son, which just compounds situations that are already sad and tragic. Has anyon... ...

To Get Off Of Meth
7 Replies RSS
What do you need to take to get off meth. ## According to my research, because the damage done by meth addiction happens in many areas, treatment is broad and includes immediate detox and subsequent care. The emotion, physical, and social problems meth causes all have to be addressed before sobriety can be maintained. "Meth addiction can be treated. Although acute withdrawal can be completed in a week without the drug, long term withdrawal symptoms will persist. Medical treatment can help with depression and coping skills. The risk for addicts is that they will think one round of withdrawal and suffering has somehow made them less likely to slide back into full blown addiction. This is not the case. It has been shown that the changes meth makes in the brain can take up to a year to ... ...

Getting oxycontin cheaper without insurance
1 Reply RSS
I was released from the hospital today & they gave me four rxs one of them is oxycontin 40mg x 60 pills. My wife went to our local pharmacy & when they rang up the total she cried. It can to over $600.00 dollars $425.00 dollars was for the 40 milligram oxycontin pills x60 pills is there a generic or even better ( since we don't have insurance ) a way to contact the company to see if they can help ? ## No, there is no generic of Oxycontin currently available, they were all discontinued due to the great risk of diversion. The FDA felt that if it was only made by one company, then the supplies on the market would be easier to track and monitor. However, if you have no insurance, the manufacturer Purdue does have an assistance program you can apply for. You must meet the qualifi... ...

First day on Lyrica scared me, does it get better?

Help! I was given Lyrica by my pain management doctor. I have severe neurogenic pain from multiple sclerosis. I am also taking Wellbutrin and Cymbalta, the idea of being on 3 different-acting anti-depressants worries me. I am on heavy opiates for the pain and can live alright with the level of pain I have without the Lyrica, I am not sure if the pain doc is attempting to get me off opiates, or just wanted me to try Lyrica. The first dose of 100 mg (yesterday) made me high as a kite, I didn't feel like myself, could not stay on task, jittery, problems with balance, unable to concentrate, hard to sleep AND it seemed like my pain was actually worse.....I have hesitated to take my dose today, and the doc wants me to increase to 150 mg/day in 3 days, I cannot imagine taking more at this ... ...

Metoprolol And celexa together is it dangeruos
1 Reply RSS
is taking metoprolol and celexa together could be harmful? ## Hi meme, My findings state that there are in fact unsafe interactions between Metoprolol and Celexa. Posted below are the precautions you should be aware of: "MONITOR: Limited clinical data suggest that selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) may potentiate the pharmacologic effects of some beta-blockers. There have been case reports of patients stabilized on beta-blocker therapy who developed bradycardia, hypotension, and complete heart block following the addition of a SSRI, subsequently requiring discontinuation of one or both agents and/or institution of a permanent pacemaker. The interaction is also corroborated by data from in vitro and clinical studies involving paroxetine and metoprolol conducted by one gr... ...
