Getting Midrin
2 Replies RSS
I have used Midrin sometimes over the last 30 years for migraines. Then I could not find any. Midrin is the only thing that works for me. I had a severe migraine that lasted 10 days and I now have a blind spot where the flashing lights were for all that time. The eye doctor I saw 24 hours into this did not find anything serious, because the effect is in the part of the brain that processes vision. I finally found out about compounding pharmacies and my doctor wrote the prescription for the 3 ingredients: C-Acet 325mg/dichloralphena/isometh65mg I found a compounding pharmacy in my area. The prescription was faxed to them with my pharmacy insurance info. I picked it up the same day. My insurance covered it with a somewhat higher co-pay. Midrin has been made hard to get as it was not teste... ...

Cold and getting colder with Levothyroxine

I have been taking Levothyroxine 50 mcg for years. Recently, I am noticing an increase in my cold temperature intolerance. Basically, I'm freezing all the time not mater what the weather or season. ## Hello, Marme! How are you? When was the last time your hormone levels were checked via blood word? That is a symptom that can be associated with thyroid issues, so your current dosage may not be adequately handling the problem, anymore. ## I have Hypothyroidism and I am on 112 mcg and as of 2/14/2014 I found out that Synthroid can have the following side effects. It can raise your blood pressure, you can have mood swings, you can experience being cold all the time. This message is from Bob Twillman who started the petition "Florida Pharmacies: Stop Florida pharmacies from denying pain patients vital medicines," which you signed on As you know, Florida continues having serious problems with access to pain medications for people all over the state. In a press conference last week about Florida’s success in reducing oxycodone-related overdose deaths, Florida’s surgeon general said he has not been hearing from people who are having trouble getting their medicines. I believe that getting personal stories straight to the surgeon general will bring needed awareness to this issue. If you are a person from Florida who has been having problems getting your medicines, please contact Florida Surgeon Ge... ...

I have CVS Caremark and I get my meds delivered monthly without any issues. I don't understand why so many people have such a hard time with this. You do have to send in your hard copies and there is an overnight option for your mess to be sent back but honestly I have never had an issue. Now I do understand there are allot of people without insurance and I am sorry for that for if it was not for my insurance I would be in the exact same boat. Good luck to all. ## HI, Dman! How are you? It's great of you to post to inform others. However, in some states, controlled substances can no longer be shipped, due to the very high levels of theft and diversion that they had, so they had to put an end to it. It is an option that is still open for many insured people, but those without are... ...

Horrendous SSRI - getting off it immediately.
2 Replies RSS
I am so glad I found this forum, as I see I'm not the only one experiencing terrifying sleep paralysis, amongst other side effects. I have been on 20mg for about five weeks now, and am calling my doctor first thing in the morning to get off this medication immediately. Aside from three full weeks of heavy side effects (GI issues, increased Depression [I've never even had Depression!], vertigo, nausea, etc... I am now experiencing sleep paralysis, auditory hallucinations, irrational thoughts, nightmares and increased anxiety because of the sleep paralysis. I have suffered from GAD, and Panic Disorder for 15 years, and have been on various SSRI's/Benzodiazepines, and can assure you I have never, ever been this terrified of a medication in my life, nor have I EVER had such irra... ...

how many days does it take to get off suboxone
1 Reply RSS
I'm going through it, 29yrs old. Tried it one time since 2011. I'm tired and want to do it. Thanks ## It depends how much Suboxone you've been taking each day and how long you've been taking it. Can you please post back with more details? Has your doctor given you a tapering schedule? The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addition, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ...
