i guess it was actavis that acquired Watson - anyway. the name of actavis president is Paul Bisaro - they are becoming global; maybe they are making this stuff in India, who knows? ## That's the scary part.....who knows where it's being made! The quality is suppose to be according to US standards but this is the second pain med, that I know of, in less than 2 years from them that has been terrible. what dose it look like ## My husband has been prescribed oxycodone 5 mg. and oxycodone 15 mg. 4 times daily. When I took his prescription to be filled yesterday I was told that the government was not letting any of them go out right now (the 5 mg, that is). I got the 15 mg. What's going on? ## I know the generic manufacturer Ethex has issued a voluntary recall due to quality control concerns, however, I haven't heard of anything recalled by the government. It is possible that your pharmacy carried the ones made by Ethex and don't have any in stock right now, since they had to pull them from the shelves. I have seen so many different opinions and information about companies offering generic oxycodone and the differences in strength, and quality over other generic brands. I have also heard that the FDA allows from 12% to 20% variances in the active ingredient (oxycodone) in their pills. Which if i am understanding this correctly, they can be + or - 12 to 20% of the actual amount of oxycodone per tablet? Can someone with the expertise or knowledge (like a pharmacist or a doctor) explain this to us who have heard this and don't understand? This new 224 pill is awful!! I get 180 a mon for severe migraines and its bad enuff I get nauseaus due to the pain. light green Oxycodone. Just the synthetic opiate medicine no acetaphetamine or aspirin included. I have no bad reactions from the straight medication. There are fillers and other opiates than cause me to have open sores and other reactions. My liver can not handle anymore tylenol or steroid inj's.. Until the 1990s the brand names were affordable; $20. for 100 Tylenol #4s, $25. for 100 Percocet 5s. I used to take Watson percocet and never had any problems and it took away my pain. The Actavis is nothing like the Watsons and have terrible side effects and feels like you are taking a placebo - NO pain relief. If you have to take more to get any type of pain relief you will suffer alot of GI problems. Avoid them, they may have 3 or 4 mg of oxycodone in them, but only the manufacturer in India would know.sarc. ## I am very sorry that this medication didn't work for you, with some slight fluctuations in generics, not all of them work for everyone. Maybe someone can be of help to my Elderly parent. My parent, who is prescribed 15mg generic Percocet for chronic pain in her joints is having a hard time finding a pharmacy that has the medication on hand. Quality of life is greatly improved by the proper use of this important medication. Without it, quality of life is greatly diminished. The medicine is a God send, provided the prescription be filled in a timely manner. It seems as though nobody wants to carry it. Hi, this is the first time I have been given the A333 oxycodone 10 -325. Normally I get the Watson 10 - 325 which has always been a decent generic brand. Hello. I was just given a refill of 5-325 Oxycodone/Acetaminophen (Percocet). These pills are much smaller than the large white pills I normally take (8 yrs). These new pills have RP on one side. So far I have taken 2 and they don't feel as strong as what I'm used to.
