Hi everyone, I am taking Prozac generics and wondering about preferences in manufacturers. I believe the 20mg of Activist is not performing very well. My pdoctor has increased to 30mg by taking 3 10mg and would like to get a reputable manufacturer. Also would like to know about experience from people who were given Latuda to use with it. He gave me a sample pack but have been afraid to take it. ## I currently take the capsule manufactured by Aurobindo Pharmaceuticals for perimenopause symptoms, which include anxiety, and it works very well for me. I take 20mgs in the morning and 10mgs at night. I can't say how well it will work for you, though, since we are all different. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry...

WHAT DOES A GENERIC prozac 20mg and a 10 mg look like. I want to find the green capusles ## As a generic, there are far too many on the market for me to be able to list all the possible markings and descriptions for you. There are even quite a lot if I just narrow it down to green, or ones that can be taken for being green. Do you have any other information on it, such as the manufacturer name? ## It says E92 it is different than any I've gotten before

The generic Prozac I am looking for is 4346 40mg capsule made by Teva. They do not carry it where I live. Does someone know where I might find this medications? Thank You ## @Smith21, One thing you might want to consider is contacting Teva Pharmaceuticals directly in order to determine which pharmacies (and locations) they supply their products with; specifically generic Prozac. My understanding is that they should be able to provide you with a list of who has their products and/or when they send out shipments, unless some of that information is classified... Nevertheless, Teva's US Headquarters can be reached at the following number: 888-TEVA-USA (888-838-2872) I hope this helps!

19 years ago I began taking pills for Bi-Polar. After trying different pills on trial basis for 2 yrs we finally found a combination that works for me and that is Depakote and Prozac. I have found out that I can take generic Prozac but I can not take generic Depakote nor can I take Depakote with out the ER - I must have the real Depakote ER. I see the pill as large oval and gray in color. Because most medical insurances including Medicare and Medicaid will not automatically pay for the real thing so I have to get my Depakote ER approved every two months through Medicaid. For it, it is worth it. I have found that every 4 or 5 years I have to stopped the Depakote ER for about 2 years and then I go back on it again., When my brain won't close down day or night (even though I am on Depa...

Capsule, green top with M in black, grey bottom with 105 in black = generic fluoxetine (Prozac) 10mg made by Canadian pharmaceutical company Mint Pharmaceuticals. I realized I had my Rx filled with this generic rather than my usual (Novo), when I went looking for reasons why my anxiety had skyrocketed over the previous 2 weeks+/-. I suspect this is the cause and will find out soon when I find a pharmacy that still dispenses the Novo version. Just wanted to post this in case it's helpful to someone.

I have finally got back to prozac instead of the generic version of prozac and my heartburn is gone.. I have suffered with SEVERE heartburn for 4 years. I finally talked my doctor into giving me the brand name instead of generic and sure enough that was the cause of it.. Back 20 years ago I was put on prozac and was on it for many years and about 4 years ago I started getting generic prozac (fluoxetine) and within 30 minutes of taking it I had SUPER SEVERE heartburn that lasted for many hours!!! I would take antacids, tums, zantac, pepto, milk, Everything but nothing would put the fire out!! It's been 2 weeks now on brand name prozac and NO HEARTBURN!!! THANK THE LORD!!!! I wanted to post this so maybe someone may get some relief if they are experiencing what I have went through for...

I'm not sure if doctor's read this website but until they realize that these drug manufacturers can't be trusted, they will not be able to help their patients. My mom who has Alzheimer's is able to react to changes in different brands of the same meds she's been on. Her caregivers notice and let us know. It's a real shame that the FDA allows such a drastic range in what they are able to put into these generic drugs. Shame, shame on them. We need to protect ourselves against the generic drugs sitting right in our local drug stores. You don't need to be on street drugs to be harmed by bad drugs, they are right at your local pharmacies. Don't let your pharmacist lie to you, they're in it for the money. ## Did anyone experience Seizures on Prozac? My daug...

Are prozac pills green and white capsules with ML-AO7 ## all color of prozac pills ## First off, This is NOT PROZAC! The capsule marked ML AO7 is Cephalexin 250mgs, a generic for the antibiotic Keflex. This is a cephalosporin class antibiotic. Secondly, no, not all pills with any ingredient will all be the same size, shape, color, or bear the same imprint. They only requirement in the pharmaceutical industry says that all pills legal sold in the US as prescription drugs must have a unique imprint for ID purposes, but the shape, size, color, and imprint are all up to the whit and whim of the manufacturer. As long as they make the imprint consistent for that dosage, it can look however they want it to look. The size, shape, color, and imprint will also vary by the same manufacturer accor...

white with green stripe on one side and an gray stripe on one side with the number GG550 on it ## What it may look like is a very open ended question, once a pill is available for generic manufacture, there are tons of companies that make them and each pill or capsule will look different, depending on what the company wants it too look like, even the imprint within a company will differ according to the dosage. Now, as to your capsule, (and thanks for providing the description and imprint, it makes it much easier to confirm for you!) this is indeed a generic for Prozac. Fluoxetine 20mgs. I have been taking 60mg generic Prozac for about six months. These days I'm feeling like it's not quite controlling my depression. With my doctor's permission I tried raising the dose to 80mg and it caused me to sleep straight through the entire day. Does anyone know of another antidepressant that might work with prozac but not knock me out? Paxil was wonderful but stopped working after about 3 years as well as wellbutrin and zoloft......all taken by themselves. I would appreciate your suggestions, thank you. ## If you have successfully taken Paxil before and it stopped working, there is no reason you can't try it again, as long as there has been some time in between that you've been off of it. is it safe to take wellbutrin and prozac together ## They can be used together, however, it may increase the risk of seizures, so a doctor does have to carefully consider the dosage that is used, because the higher the dosage of Wellbutrin/Bupropion, the greater the risk involved. These medications may cause other side effects, such as: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and weight gain. More details: Are there any other comments or questions? ## About 3 wks ago I started taking generic wellbutrin 100 mg twice a day. I am still having crying episodes, getting upset easily and having trouble sleeping. I am feeling like I either need a dose increase or to add a different medication along with the wellbutrin. I have taken Prozac generic fluoxetine for two years. I rec'd new prescription from Northside. Since I started taking this drug, I have been hyper not sleeping, major reflux and heartburn, and today started with diarrhea. I am planning to return this drug to the pharmacy for another brand. I suffer from Celiac disease and don't need the addition issues with stomache problems. ## I am very sorry that you're having such problems. received the new dark turquoise prozac generic about a month ago after years of taking first prozac, and then fluoxetene that was a white capsule with a green and black stripe. the new blue ones do NOT work for me, and the fact that the formulation should be identical is scary! i am much moodier and nervous, AND (after seeing a post below) have some numbness in my neck and scalp that i have never had before! i saw my doc and then called pharmacist and he said i am NOT alone and he is ordering me the white capsules with no additional charge. some things are in my head - this is NOT! ## Yes, I have to agree that it is probably not just in your head. I've been taking a generic green & white capsule of 20 mg Prozac (fluoxetine) for a few years. My pharmacy gave me blue capsules mfg by alembic this time & I am feeling so sick for 4 days now. I thought I had a stomach bug, but I've never had a bug linger this long. I had diarrhea & vomiting on day 2 & 3, jittery sleep, then deep bouts of sleep, bad headache, night sweats & nightmares. ## Ditto! I almost puked this am, and have been sick all day. Had major side effects after my pharmacy switched me to blue caps. Was taking Sandoz white and green for years with no problem.
