Wondering how much a single suboxone costs at Walgreens ## 4.83 per strip at Walgreens is what it comes out to for a 30 strip prescription. ## First of all Walmart or Walgreens will not fill it prescription for Suboxone tablets ## Hello Starting to sweat, Currently the average price for a strip is 4.80 cents, but location and timing is everything. Prices of medication can change very quickly depending on the supply and demand for them. Hope this helps.

Would like to know about the generic name for Loratab. ## I don't guess I know that although I've been prescribed Lortab a couple of times in the past. Perhaps Hydrocodone? ## It is hydrocodone. Vicodin is 5/325, Vicodin ES is 7.5/325, and Lortab or Lorcet is 10/325 ## A generic prescription for lortab 7.5mg is Hydrocodone/APAP 7.5-500 ## found a pill don't know what it is. its white ovel # mp 424 ## Yes, the APAP is medical speak for Acetaminophen, so the active ingredients in Lortab, Lorcet, Norco and Vicodin are Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone. The Hydrocodone is a narcotic, so it does have the potential to be habit forming and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I was on the generic suboxone pill the round orange AN 415 tablet when I went to pick up my remaining partial perscription I saw that the pharmacist handed me a completely different pill it was the new pink/peach 54/375 tablet I immediately questioned this pill wondering if in fact it would be as good! Well I took the first one tonight and I feel they work much better for me I agree with many others on this forum it's all mainly the way the body metabolizes it in my opinion it's like different strokes for different folks! ## Glad to hear that this newer tablet is working well for you. I know it can often times be a gamble when you go to the pharmacy frequently and expect to get the same thing every single time, only to be given what's left in the shuffle. Thankfully getting ...

I am 45 years old and on disability. My medicare prescription insurance does not cover generic Suboxone tablets. I just started treatment. I will be taking a quantity of 90 of the 8.2 generic Suboxone tablets. The cheapest cash price I have been able to find is $132 a month. The monthly doctors visit costs $150. I simply can't afford treatment at that price. I would appreciate any coupons that will help lower my monthly prescription costs. ## Hello Tim, Sorry to hear that this unfortunate situation has come upon you. Hopefully I can shed some light on the situation here. There are PAP (prescription assistance programs) for nearly all medications so long as you qualify for them. I will link below a PAP for suboxone that you can contact, we'll start with this website as it seems t...

How can I the generic Vicodin. I want my RX to state "generic for Vicodin" It used to say, Hydrocodone/Apap 5/500. Now when I get my refills it says Hydroco/Apap generic for Norco? Told they are the same so why do I need to take the Norvo in larger doses (2 pills each time) to get the same relief from one generic Vicodin? There must be something my Dr is writing on the prescription that causes this to occur. Thank you for your help ## Hello, Grandma52! How are you? Vicodin actually contained more Acetaminophen than the Norco does, it was available with amounts including 500mgs and over. However, last year, all of the tablets with the higher doses of it were removed from the market. Thus, Vicodin and its generics are no longer available. The maximum dose of Acetaminophen availabl...

Tec 3 is this Tylenol 3we think it had a label on the bottle before with lent... ## Tylenol 3 is listed as containing 30mgs of Codeine and 300mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## you forgot about the side effects from acetaminophen (tylenol) the #1cause of acute liver failure, the leading/eventual side effect from "tylenol" is death,it happens all the time God forbid you drink on top of it, McNeil must own the FDA b/c it should be banned, but there is the most important thing that they/them takemore serious than life or death and that is $$$666

I noticed The last time I had this dispensed, that the marking -30- on 13 out of 60 tablets were upside down relative to the front of the tablet. I have never noticed this before, and I also noticed a complete lack of efficacy. I take this for narcolepsy. The date it was dispensed was December 4, 2020. ## There is no specific way the marking has to be, it is solely dependent on how the pills fell into the press at that particular manufacturing facility. However, I am sorry about the issue you had with efficacy. Has this ever happened, before? Have you spoken to your doctor? You may need a dosage adjustment. The FDA warns that Adderall carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, insomnia, nervousness, and hyperactivity. ## Hey...

I was taking Suboxone films for over two years and they worked incredibly well for me. This month I was switched over to the generic Suboxone tablets (the orange, round AN 415) because my insurance will no longer pay for the films. I am already having plenty of issues with the new medication. First of all, it takes over 1.5 hours for one tab to dissolve under the tongue. I take two 8/2mg tabs, so it takes over 3 hours a day to take these meds. It doesn't even dissolve completely after this time frame; it just turns into a large, thick pile of paste that sits under my tongue and between my bottom teeth. The taste is nauseating, especially when it is sitting in my mouth for over three hours. Either the dosage is not the same as the films, or these tabs are not absorbing correctly, bec...

I found in the generic Bystolic, among other chemicals as inactive ingredients Sodium Lauryl Sulfate and at least one artificial color ?! Both of this chemical are well known cncerogen, any explanation for that ?! As soon as possible I’ll replace it. ## Hello, Snoopy! How are you? While some of the inactive ingredients may be known to be carcinogens, if you read the research studies, that's usually if someone is ingesting very high amounts for a long period of time. However, the amounts in a pill are minuscule and in those amounts, the FDA considers them to be generally safe for long-term use. This is frequently misunderstood, even when it comes to something such as dogs eating chocolate. A little nibble won't result in a death sentence, they'd have to eat a lot, in mo...

More information on this product,Ive been on this for a couple years an know I think I have a higher tolerate. ## What type of information are you seeking on it? The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. As to building up a tolerance to it, that is normal, if you've been taking the same dosage for a long period of time. If it is no longer working as well for you, you may need a dosage adjustment, or to try a different medication.

I live in Houston, Texas am disabled and taking qualitest generic narco 10/325 mg for over 20 years. New generic is Mallinkrt and it is making me sick. Current pharmacy does not carry qualitest. Where do I look to find out who carries this generic brand of narco. I cant handle the side effects of the other generic narco ## Hello, Tam! How are you? I'm sorry, but there is no listing of pharmacies according to which medication from which manufacturer they have in stock. Most pharmacies will switch which one they carry, depending on who's offering the cheapest price, at the time they need to restock their supply. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Th...

Has anyone noticed that taking generic Paxil is not as effective as the real deal? I'm having a terrible time with recurring anxiety symptoms. ## While patients may experience slight differences between medications, the generic market is highly regulated in both the U.S. and Australia (where I live). The drug concentration is the same within the tablet, it will have the same absorption profile, same extent of absorption. Therefore in all likelyhood it should work exactly the same (within acceptable limits) as the original brand. The only changes present could be due to the inactive ingredients within the formulation which a patient may be sensitive or intolerant to. While this does not affect the effectiveness of the medication it may introduce side-effects.

I would liketo know if lovastatin is the generic brand for zetia ## i would like to know if this is a gereric brand for zetia . i find that the zetia is too expensive for me i do not have adequate coverage. and how would i go about ordering this druf=g for myself?? i do have a prescription at this time and am paying $28.00 for a 30 day supply. ## No. Lovastatin is the generic name for the statin Mevacor, not Zetia (which is not a statin at all). Which you'd have found out if you typed "lovastatin" into Google or Yahoo search. Der. ## And while I'm here, Zetia is too new to have a generic version, and stop complaining that it costs $28 a month. It costs me over $125 a month, and even under my prescription plan it would be at least $35 a month. You're very lucky. ## I&...

When was the generic form of Exforge 10-320mg tabs become available to the public ## Hello, Kim! How are you? It was just approved in 2007, so it will likely be several more years, before a generic is available. The exclusive patent rights for prescription medications usually last for about 20 years, then they can file appeals to prevent generics from being released for even longer periods of time. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, increased urination and hypotension. If it is too expensive for you, there are similar medications that are available as generics, so you may want to ask your doctor about them. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have been taking HYDROCO/APAP TAB 10-650 TH the description on the bottlte says "blue scored oblong tablet side 1: M361 Side 2: The pills I rec'd are a smaller oblong white pill with a large V on one side ane other side is scored with 35 on one side of score and 92 on other side of score. These do not give me any relief what does the description tell you? ## The V 3592 is acetaminophen/hydrocodone 500 mg/5 mg. ## That is correct, the tablets with the 3592 V marking are a lower strength, containing only 5mgs of the Hydrocodone and 500mgs of the Acetaminophen. Have you contacted your pharmacy about this? ## Yes I did contact the pharmacy twice and the pharmacist both times claimed that they were the 10/650 just a generic brand by a different drug company, thanks for your reply

I have been taking 50 mg of Lyrica 3 xs a day for about 8 years. I understand there is finally a generic Pregabalin available. Has anyone taken the generic? I was getting my Lyrica for free through Pfizer but now that there is a generic Pfizer will no longer give me Lyrica and I will have to pay for it. ## That is normal, once the generic is available, a manufacturer will usually end their assistance program for any given medication. I was on Atacand for several years, and then had to switch, once a generic became available, and the program ended, because at that time, I was uninsured, and still couldn't afford the generic price, which was over $100 a month. The generic for Lyrica, which as you mentioned is Pregabalin, is as effective as the name brand, and has helped many people. T...

What is the current total number of brand name drugs and generic drugs on the FDA's approved list? ## I'm sorry, but I do not have any information on what the total number is, due to the fact that it is actually very dynamic. It can change, at any given time, as new medications are approved, old ones are discontinued and new generics become available. Are there any other questions or comments? ## I understand that the list changes frequently. I would like to know the approximate number of drugs on the list. ## Working in pharmacy,we call these the top 200.
