I found a white oblong/oval pill that looks like it might be a hydrocodone but has no imprints. wanted to know if it was a hydrocodone or something elese? ## Hello, Amy! How are you? If it has no imprints, then no, all prescription tablets in the U.S. are required by law to have imprints to enable their identification, in case of emergency. Thus, it can't be a Hydrocodone tablet, without an imprint, it is most likely an over the counter product of some type. Is there anything else I can help with?

I was prescribed hydrocodone for a pinched nerve in my neck. I will have to take it awhile because my health insurance is insisting I undergo less invasive treatment before having the surgery my doctor recommends. Anyway, the first prescription I filled was for 5/325, an all white pill with an M marking. I was able to take those without problem. The second prescription I filled was white with red specks (same strength). About a half an hour after I took one of these pills, I started feeling ill. My heart was pounding and I had chest pains. Then I developed a mild case of hives. I notified my doctor and he switched me to oxycodone which was just too strong. I reported this and he rewrote for hydrocodone. I returned the oxycodone to the pharmacy as I had done with the white and red hydroc...

I am used to taking the Yellow, generic 10/325 hydrocodone for a long time for chronic back pain from a car accident. They worked fine. Then I moved to LaSalle County in Illinois and they gave me white ones, three times. I know Watson was bought out by Activas. The worst white ones were from Walgreens! Does anyone know the manufacturer of the generic yellow hydrocodone / acetaminophen 10/325? And there is a BIG difference in pain relief regarding generic pain relievers! ## Unfortunately, the colors don't mean anything, so that is not enough for information for anyone to research this for you. Can you please post back with the markings on the tablets in question? That would enable someone to look into this for you. Thank you! As to possible differences, under the Hatch-Waxman Act of ...

Got a generic for watson hydrocodone 10 500 has mb63 marked on it. Is it real ## Is it possible that the imprint says something else? I'm not finding anything that comes up under "Mb63". M363 is the closest match to your description and it is also identified as Acetaminophen (500 mg) + Hydrocodone bitartrate (10 mg). So I can only assume that you may have misread it? Manufacturer: Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals National Drug Code (NDC): 00406-0363 Learn More: Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone Details If you have any more questions or concerns, please post back and I will be happy to help you.

I filled my prescription at my pharmacy that I always use and I received a different brand marked 10/325 RP. Didn’t think anything of it or notice until I checked due to me not feeling any difference in my pain level after an hour and I usually feeling a big difference after 30 mins. My concern is that this is a less effective knock off of hydrocodone and isn’t going to keep my chronic neck and back pain under control. Has anyone experienced this with this brand? Am I able to go back to the pharmacy with my concerns and ask for a non generic. I don’t see the use in taking a pain medication that isn’t providing the same level of relief. Thanks! ## What you've received are Rhodes Pharmaceuticals Hydrocodone (NDC 42858-0203). There have been many complaints abou...

I have experienced many generic brands, including Watson and Qualitest. My pharmacy just changed to the Amneal brand 10-325 hydrocodone/APAP. I am just not sure what to think about this. The pills have an IP on them. What have been the experiences of others taking this specific generic brand? ## Because these drugs can affect each individual differently, my opinion is that trial and error through one's own personal experience is the only way to accurately judge the efficacy of a specific tablet. On the other hand, I do get the sense that some brands/generics are manufactured with less quality inactive ingredients than others, potentially making them more prone to cause side effects or placebo-like responses from varying degrees of bioavailability. I haven't taken the Amneal bran...

Hydrocodone is too expensive. What can I use that is similar? ## That is the generic active ingredient, the name brands it's used in, if coupled with Acetaminophen would be Vicodin, Lortab and Norco and, if coupled with Ibuprofen it would be Vicoprofen. Learn more Vicodin details here. They usually aren't that expensive, but how many are you buying and in what dosage? What price did the pharmacy quote you?

I was given these in a clinic in Vancouver B.C. They looked like es Vic.but no writing at all.just a line on one side nothing on the other.extremely hard 2 break in half,& they were light pink inside.terrible taste. ## Hi Ana, While it may be true that different manufacturers have quality control issues, I don't think there should be any reason to believe that they're counterfeit, if you were given these by a doctor/pharmacist at a clinic. Did they inform you that this was Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen or what is it that led you to assume it was? From an outside perspective, this could literally be anything if there are no markings to identify it by. However I've never ever heard of licensed pharmacies dispensing fake pills. Perhaps it wasn't stored properly, causing the...

I take uo3 hydrocodone 10/325 and it's the best ## Hello, Davey! How are you? Thank you for making such a helpful post. The FDA classifies Norco as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Are there any questions or concerns? ## Which is better the hydrocodone /Acet10/325white pills watson853 or hydrocodone /Acet 10/325 white pills M367. ## I found that the yellow football shaped marked with a v on 1side & 36 01 work best for me ## Hahaha too funny! Obviously you're either a company representative or you've never taken a decent brand of generic Norco to know the difference. I tend to think it's the former since you stated the U03 Aurolife Norcos ...

The Watson 853 hydrocodone 10-325 I got at Walgreens didn't kill my pain and made me sick! I need to know what is better quality. Is Mallinckordt m367 better than the manufacturer Par/ Endo? I don't live in an area that carries the yellow anymore, and I need pain relief that lasts all month and doesn't make me sick. Please if anyone knows o appreciate an answer. ## Watson does list this tablet as containing 10mgs of Hydrocodone, and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, but they removed the dye from them, so they are white now, and no longer yellow. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation, and headache. Overall, there is no specific best tablet, it really depends on what wor...

My doctor has approved the name brand for generic Hydrocodone, but I cannot find a pharmacy that will even try to get a brand other than Mallinckrodt, Lupin, or Amneal; the generic brands that are sent to them. I was doing great when Watson had the yellow oblong 10/325 and am at my wits' end. I am in bad pain every day of my life. I don’t know how much longer I can take this pain. Not everyone with chronic pain is just a drug addict but we are all treated that way. Got to change soon or I can’t live this way. ## Have you tried any alternative opiates, since you can't find one of these that works for you? Some other choices are Hydromorphone, Oxycodone, Morphine, and Demerol. The FDA warns that they all carry the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects...

Has a V symbol on one side of the pill and the number 3592. Is this the right number for the generic? In the same prescription there are also some that have M 357 and both can be scored in the middle. Just was wondering if it is the same pill. ## What kind of pill is it what does it do ## Yes, both of the tablets mentioned contain 5mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen, the active ingredients in Vicodin, which is a narcotic analgesic. This medication does have the potential to be habit forming and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. You can learn more Vicodin details here. Another note that needs to be added here is that as of 2013, the FDA has made a request that all manufacturers lower the amount of Acetaminophen in th...

Is it really hydrocone 10- 325 generic lortab??? ## Lortab, Norco and Vicodin all have hydrocodone and tylenol in them So yes, hydrocodone and tylenol is generic for Lortab. ## Hello, Chic! How are you? What BL has posted is correct. However, if you're asking about the tablet with the N S1 marking, it is manufactured by Nostrum Laboratories and they list it as containing 1mg of Sucralfate, so it is not any type of opiate. The FDA classifies this as an anti-ulcer medication and its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, backache, constipation and indigestion. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Well I have been taking hydros, for a while now and it's like I'm have problems getting off of them. But the doctor perceived me some tyolanal 3s 30mgs.

white oblong tablet, line through middle, IMI on one side of line, 110 on other side. Whatever pharmacist told you that did not know what he was talking about. These tablets contain 325mgs of Acetaminophen, 50mgs of Butalbital and 40mgs of Caffeine, they are a generic for Fioricet, most commonly prescribed to treat migraine and tension headaches. are there reported differences in strength or quality between the hydrocodone products of the different manufacturers? ## My doctor prescribed 5mg hydrocodone /apap as needed for pain not to exceed 4 hr intervals. The pharmacy dispenses the drug from at least three different manufacturers in differing forms of tablets. Are there studies or reports comparing the pharmacokinetics or quality control results for the tablets? ## No, there are no reports to be found to give you those precise details, but yes there can be differences from one generic manufacturer to the next. They can actually differ in the amount of the amount of the active ingredients by as much as plus or minus 20% measured against the original name brand. Learn more Vicodin details here. ## I am looking for the pharmacudical company that makes lortab and/or hydorcodine to help a disabled person get on the patient assistant program.
