Does Mikart make a generic Fioricet? I know they stopped making it for awhile, but they definitely worked the best for me. Hopefully, they will again!! ## Yes I was getting that same generic for Fioricet and had the MIA on one side and 110 on the other I believe those worked very well it seems like every time something works well they take it away ## Is Mikart still making the generic Fioricet 110? My pharmacy says it can no longer get it. ## Hi Dee, yes they do. It's a white oblong pill that says MIA on one side and 110 on the other side. That pill worked the best for me as far as any generic for Fioricet; and the Mikart brand is so difficult to get. They actually sold it to another company. If you need further details I can give you the company’s name and they will find a lo...

Pls tell me what company makes this generic fioricet with LCI 1695 and light blue in color. Is it Lannett Co.? Are they a good generic company? Watson white tabs do NOT work for me. Is this blue pill good for HA? ## Hi Doggielover, Just to confirm, the manufacturer of that generic Fiorcet is Lannett Company, Inc.. This medication is commonly used in the treatment of headache, but is also regarded as an analgesic combination. As to the company's reputation on generics, I honestly haven't heard much about them. But I believe this is really something that can turn out to be very different for each individual going through their own personal experience with the medication. So you may just to have give it a trial run and see how it works out for you. You can learn more about this dru...

I can no longer get blue Westward 787 Fioricet. I bought Vantage 2355 but it makes me feel awful and does not help my headache, but creates a more intense one. What to do? Is there another pill similar to Westward 787? ## Hello Bird, Unfortunately there is no way to know for certain which generic will work best for you until you keep testing out different ones. Different manufacturers use different "inactive" ingredients, which may cause reactions similar to the one you've experienced with the generic Fiorocet from Vantage. Have you tried the generic Fioricet from Mikart Inc.? They manufacturer an oblong white pill with the imprint MIA 110. It is scored down the middle and blank on the other side. This pill contains (325 mg) of Acetaminophen, + (50 mg) of Butalbital + (40 mg...

i always use mia 110 fiorcet.i got white ones w/v 2355. do they work as good b/c i cant teake the blue. im at the point im just going to to get brand name. does anyone know aboutn this quetson v 2355 qand if it works ## The only way to see if it is going to work for you is to actually try them. Medications can affect everyone differently, so what works well for someone else may not work for you and vice-versa. They both contain the same active ingredients, so in theory they should work the same. Are there any other comments or questions? ## they work better to me than the blue ones ## I think the blue ones are very diff than the white ones. It seems as if the blue ones have more caffeine. ## I agree with you, they are not the same, if you have true headaches, true migraines, true cluste...

What markings does the Fioricet/Butalbital have on the white tablet and who is the manufacturer? I can not take the blue tablet form as something in it makes me ill. Thank you. ## Fioricet contains the active ingredients Acetaminophen, Butalbital and Caffeine, it is most commonly used to treat migraines. These are several white tablets on the market, since it is available as a generic and I can pinpoint any specifically, since you didn't list your dosage. I also don't have a list of manufacturers for all of them, however, here are some markings on the white tablets, so you can see if you recognize any: White, round, 2355 V (Vintage/Qualitest Pharmaceuticals) White, oval, MIA 110 White, oval, 2357 V (VIntage/Qualitest Pharmaceuticals) White, oval, 3416 WPI White, oblong M (in a s...

recently when I take my Fioricet w/ Cod I get REALLY drowsy. I never had this problem in the past. Could it be the fact that I am now Taking the generic version? ## I have same problem Take a nap in morning and need another in afternoon ## Yes, there can be difference in the amount of the active ingredients in the generics, as compared to the name brands. The fluctuations are slight and many people have no problems with them, but some people are sensitive to medications and experience new side effects. It should wear off in a few weeks, as your body adjusts to the medication, but if it doesn't, please contact your doctor. They may need to prescribe it for you as brand medically necessary to prevent such issues. Is there anything else I can help with?

My Nurse Practitioner wants me to take Lyrica 75mg. every day for pain. Looked up the side effects & am very apprehensive about this drug. Is anyone on here familiar w/ this drug? I find 2 extra strength Ecotrin helps just as much & has far less side effects. ## As I said, I am very apprehensive about taking this drug. If Ecotrin does the job why should I take another prescription drug that worries me? ## Well, in reality the ultimate choice is up to you, so it you don't want to take it, because you aren't comfortable with the risks, no one can make you. Ecotrin just contains Aspirin, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, so if it works, then there is no reason to switch to something else. However, you do have to be careful how much of it you are taking in a day. Le...

round, blue with CL on top, then a score mark and 041 underneath the score. The bottle says manufactured by West ward but this is not printed on the pill. I have never encountered a pill without the manufacturer logo on it. ## From what we can discover, these tablets contain Acetaminophen, Butalbital and Caffeine, it is used to treat migraine and tension headaches. Side effects can include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. This is a generic for Fioricet and the CL is their logo. ## Do you have a picture that shows this, or where did you find the information that says its fioricet? ## Dawn, there are quite a few resources that enable us to identify prescription tablets. Under federal law they all must have unique imprints to enable their identification and databases are compil...

Does anyone have info. re: ordering from the internet for generic fioricet with imprint MIA 110? Didn't have problems until this year with orders -- having tension/migraine type pain and pressure for many years every day; would appreciate any info. possible. Thanks. ## Hi Casey, Depending on whether or not you ordered your medication from a legitimate pharmacy, it can actually be quite common for mistakes to arise. What types of problems are you experiencing with your order exactly? Is something wrong with the actual placement of your order, or are you just referring to the quality of your medication? If you could please post back in more detail that would be great. It may also be wise to discuss those side effects with your doctor, who can suggest some safer treatment options for y...

Will they be making Fioricet Tablets again? The capsules don't work as well on my pain. ## they haven't stopped, you can get brand name or generic ## I have gotten the brand capsules but are wondering if the Manufacturer will start making the brand tablets again? My Pharmacist says they dont make the tablets anymore. If you've gotten the brand tablets please tell me where you got them. ## @Patricia, Do you know which manufacturer it was who originally produced the tablet form of Fioricet? If you do, I would probably encourage you to contact them directly regarding specific details on the tablet's future availability. If nothing else, perhaps they will be able to recommend a different manufacturer who may already be making these again. Another thought is to have a compoun...

What is this for? they are light blue capsules with a design of a head. And has Fioricet written on it. ## Hello, Tater bug! How are you? Fioricet is most commonly used to treat migraine and severe tension headaches. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, nervousness and insomnia. Is there anything else I can help with? It's surprising that you found one, since many people are having trouble finding the name brand in stock, anywhere. My generic Fioricet pill has LCI on one side and 1695 on the other. It is round and blue. Is this a good generic Fioricet pill? The price has increased greatly! For many years I only received a round white pill. I want to make sure my pharmacy is giving me a good quality generic Fioricet pill. ## Hello, Fran! How are you? All generics are good quality. They all have to meet the same quality and efficacy guidelines set by the U.S. FDA. There's really nothing to worry about with any generic you receive from your pharmacy. This medication may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, irritability and sedation. Is there anything else I can help with?

i am trying to find the brand name fioricet, pleases help! as the generics do not work. ## Hello, Tess! How are you? Sorry about the problem that you're having. What dosage are you looking for? Some of them have been discontinued and are no longer available. Otherwise, if it's one that can still be found, did you try asking your pharmacy to order it in for you? ## I have the same experience with generic Fioricet - it does NOT work! We can't be the ONLY ones to notice that the Emperor is wearing no clothes. I wish this issue could be properly addressed. But it appears that few are affected? and sales flourish, so there's not much hope. My pharmacy refuses to carry brand name Fioricet so I must purchase it out of town. Wishing you good luck!

the only things different is:that plain bupap has no caffeine and twice the tylenol per pill than generic fioricet:Butalbital ## Hi, Mary! Sorry about the problem you're having with migraines. It could be that it's the caffeine that's helping your migraines. It does work for alleviating headaches for many people and people that frequently indulge in caffeine often find themselves getting headaches if they suddenly stop, or lower their intake. Learn more Caffeine details here. I frequently found that when I had a headache that nothing else would touch, the Excedrin products with caffeine often alleviated it. Do you drink coffee or tea regularly? ## Should I be concerned now that im taking the blue generic fioricet instead of the white generic. Im nervous about the change. The...
