HI, I HAD BEEN OUT OF MY ADDERALL FOR A FEW DAYS AND I GOT SOME NEW PILLS, ONLY I HAVE NEVER SEEN THESE BEFORE. THEY ARE ROUND, WHITE, AND ONLY HAVE THE NUMBERS 737 ON IT, OTHER SIDE IS BLANK...TASTE LIKE IT WHEN I LICKED IT, BUT NOT SHOWING UP ANYWHERE, IT'S 12/30/2014 AND I KNOW THAT THERE IS DIFFERENT GENERIC BRANDS, HELP PLS N TY ## Hello, Sw33tn3ss! I have been taking Adderal for many years, the orange oval generic pill. My last prescription had white R 351 pills. I never had a problem with the orange ones. The new white ones give me chest pain and nausea and I'm very shaky inside and out to the point that I thought I was given the wrong medication by the pharmacy I use. Has anyone used the Mallinckrodt. I have never even heard of it, and have taken the other generics with moderate success;. This brand is horrible. Very weak. Hi there, I got adderall from a friend who says he has his own prescription, but I don't know if it is actually adderall. It is 5 mg and is a white tablet with a split indent down the middle. There is no imprint on it that says '5' or 'ad', absolutely nothing. It could be any pill. He says the generic forms of many pills don't have a marking on them. Is this true?? There is also a smaller brownish orange one ## When generic pills are manufactured, they can be made by many different companies and due to federal law, they will all have different markings. The shape, size and color, is, however, up to the manufacturer. That said, it would be impossible for me to post pictures of all the possible generics on the market to see if you have a match. A friend of mine went to Walgreens this month and got Mallinckrodt generic 30mg XR's. The imprint is M 8956. They look like that garbage CVS generic with a clear bottom. I have to fill my script tomorrow and I plan on asking what they have before I fill it. The prescription bottle says dextroamp-amphet er 10mg cap. The pill in the bottle is round white dome-shaped on both sides and has no markings. Is it a generic or something? ## Not likely Adderall (or any medication that is is governed by the FDA). Which leaves just some vitamins/herbal supplements that can be sold without any identifying markings. If this was given to you by a pharmacy, see them immediately because an employee may be swapping. I was recently switched from 10mg ir generic Adderall which was a round blue pill, and am now taking the 20mg ir white generic Adderall pill R 351 and feel that it doesn't give me any effect. It feels like I am not taking anything which is resulting in low energy and motivation as well as a very slim focus. And how are these different from the orange 30 mg adderall xr with the white and orange beads? ## @Ricky, When you switch between different manufacturers, the only noticeable thing I'm aware of that actually changes are the inactive ingredients (binders/fillers), so that could be one reason why the beads are different colors - different dyes? As to whether or not it's a generic or brand that you have, my research shows that the orange 30mg pill marked with "Adderall XR" is indeed a brand name and not generic.
