I got on the shot in February and my birthday was the 25th of February. Maybe a day or 2 later I started my period and it lasted for about 4 months and some change. I am trying to get off opiates myself but safely, I have been fighting this demon for years and I don't want it anymore. I was wondering if anyone else out there. Is having a hard time getting Ambien filled from the insurance company. Latest news on Ambien is that you can get only 90 pills per year. my son (34) took 90 gabapentin (100mg) pills in a two day period. What are the side effects of this as he is also undergoing ECT treatment 3 days a week and he took that many pills before undergoing his 3rd treatment. ## Your son is undergoing ETC three times a week!? May I ask why n what for. If he's never taken the medication before then he'll feel side effects such as drowsiness, nausea, dizziness, possible seizure (s), mood change, hostility OR extreme sociability. The list is too long to list here, but those are the major side effects. I am new to the butran patch. 10mcg per day. Can I take my 10 mg x2 q6hrs for the first couple of days after placing the patch on. I have read that it sometimes takes a few days at the beginning of this therapy for the butran to begin to build up in your system and become effective. ## Hello, Gaye! How are you? No, analgesics don't really work that way, it will start to relieve pain as soon as it starts to enter your body, it will just take a day or so to hit a full and continuous effectiveness level. And I wouldn't advise taking any additional medications, unless your doctor tells you that it is safe for you to do so. Depending on your tolerance level, you could end up overdosing yourself.
