Gabapentin Persistent Cough

I have been on Gabapentin for 2 years for diabetic neuropathy, building up to 300mg x 3 times daily. Six months age I started getting a sore and burning feeling in my throat, which causes me to continually cough to clear my throat. I have had a camera down my throat and nothing bad showed. An x-ray showed I had some fluid in the base of my lungs -could this cause the soreness as well as the persistent cough? I tried reducing the Gabapentin to 200mg x 3 times and the cough eased a lot, but the nerve pain got worse so I increased it again ## Hello, Pamopal! How are you?
