I've heard that gabapentin has a shelf life of five years after expiration. Most pharmacists have to put a earlier expiration date on them however. And even if gabapentin is expired they pose no risk. Maybe they'll lose some of their effectiveness, but that's it. ## Hello, Cindy! How are you? Yes, that information is correct and no, they do not become toxic. Once the pharmacy breaks the seal on the original factory bottle, they are required, by the FDA, to put a one year expiration date on the dispensing bottle, because that is the longest time the manufacturers can guarantee their full efficacy under average storage conditions, in someone's home. Gabapentin 300 capsules do they contain a corn or soy fillers or binders ## Hi Brenda, Because there are a number of manufacturers who produce this drug (e.g. Actavis, Pfizer, Teva, etc), you would need to provide us with the exact imprint on the capsule in order to determine if "your specific capsule" of Gabapentin contains such ingredients. Just at a glance, I did see that both Actavis and Pfizer's 300mg Gabapentin lists corn starch as the second inactive ingredient used in its composition, but nothing in particular that mentioned soy. I hope this helps!

I've use Gabapentin, 600 mg. And I been on it for years, but different manufacturers are not the same at pharmacies and if I don't get the same medication I would feel funny, or anxiety would occurred if it don't have the same number on it.meaning it could be a off brand. ## I'm use to going to CVS for all my meds, now I'm going to a Pharmacy that i feel like its nothing like CVS. I strongly feel they don't know my history of my health. So when it came to reverse my Gabapentin.I became nervous, cause I have to have this Pacific brand, and I seen that it had a different number on it . I don't feel safe. ## Hello, Jewel! How are you? When a medication is available as a generic, such as this one, it is usually manufactured by several different companies. This is...

I can’t sleep well because of pain and can’t wait even do Daily living activities. New Doctor just kept pushing Gabapentin and different antidepressants, plus I’ve tried Lyrica & Cymbalta with horrible side effects from all. They’re trying to make me crazy. I don't even care if it’s Oxycodone. I’d rather have something that’s extended release. I’m in Lake Charles if anyone knows who may help me close by and not judg...
