Can you please tell me if Gabapentin usp 400 mg comes in an unmarked white and purple capsule ## Not in the U.S. All manufactured prescription medications in the U.S. are required to have imprints to enable their identification. The only time a prescription medication would be in an unmarked capsule would be if it were something specially ordered by a doctor and done by a compounding pharmacy and it would make no sense in this case, since this medication is already available in standard doses. That said, they are most likely some type of over the counter product, since they are not required to have imprints and be logged with FDA. Is there anything else I can help with?

Hello: I filled my prescription for Gabapentin 400mg capsules. They arrived in the correct packaging and are half puprle, half white capsules. I went to the Indian manufacturer's website and this med isn't even listed. Does anyone have experience with this company or this med? However, if you're inquiring about this for the purpose of lowering your dosage (by removing potential beads) I would just encourage you to ask your doctor for a lower strength. Opening up the capsule only to find powder inside would probably be a waste of a pill being that they're probably quite difficult to put back together without losing a portion of the contents. On Gabapentin for 2 months. Started at 900 mgs (3 doses 3xs/day) for anxiety after getting off Vicoden. Went down to 600/day after 1 week, then 400 3 weeks later. I am prescribed gabapentin 300mg capsule and 400mg capsule. I'm supposed to take two 300mg twice a day for 7 days. Then one 400mg twice a day for however long. Hi, I've been tapering down my morphine from 400mg morphine sulfate. 3600 gabapentin and 60 mg of duloxatine, I started in October/November because of side effects like sweating and kept on crashing out for days. I'm now down to 120 mg morphine and 1800 mg of gaba and 30 mg of duloxatine and I'm still so fatigued.
