I take 100mg each night to allow myself a nights sleep without my mind racing through thoughts. My neurologist said the only side affect is sleep. Was I too trusting. ## Hello, Barbara! How are you? My doctor has me on 600 mg Neurontin a day, plus 150mg of Lyrica a day, plus 100mg of Savella a day... I am always fog brained, drunk feeling, tired, nauseated. I have been on this combination for atleast three years now. I am however just now finding out that, lyrica and Neurontin are the same medication, and that savella is just like lyrica. I was also given hydrocortisone/apap 5-325 (1-2 tablets every 4-6 tablets). I know the latter is for pain, what about gabapendin, will that help my pain. I am 4 days post surgery, still lots of pain. People are asking these questions not to be told the answers off the label! I take subs, then have no problem taking any opiate!! I never had any problems! I don't know much about methadone but just swallowed one. I took about 3mg of sub this a.m with 600 mg of neurontin / gabapentin and about 4 hrs later I took the methadone and am planning on taking at least 80 mg of Roxy thru tonight. Yesterday I took 4mg of sub about 100mg of Roxy thru the night and felt amazing! Took sub this a.m NO PROBLEM. So all this u have to wait to take subs is something I don't personally believe.
