That said, there are also no more generics for Oxycontin available on the U.S. market. There is only one manufacturer now and that is for the name brand Oxycontin from Purdue Pharma. I can't find an image to confirm, so I can't be completely sure, but this might be a store brand of Advil Cold & Sinus, which contains 200mgs of Ibuprofen and 10mgs of Phenylephrine, unless it's really old, then it may contain Pseudoephedrine. I found two different pills in the same container labeled "Guaifenesin." One is a white oval about 3/10" thick & 4/5" long, labeled "ucb" on left,scored deeply in middle, and "620" on right. The other is a much smaller, green oval tablet, about half as thick and a bit shorter, also scored between the labels "A1" and "06." ## From all I can tell, they are both guaifenesin --but I don't believe they are prescription any more--I think it is now available OTC as Mucinex. ## Chill, you are right about them being available OTC. Is the government making hydrocodon-acetaminophen available only to patients with certian condition? ## Not that I'm aware of, but it has been restricted further by the DEA. It was changed to a schedule 2 medication in 2014/early 2015. Additional DEA directives were issued advising doctors of what they deemed to be appropriate limits for people not suffering from intractable pain due to a possibly fatal illness. In turn, this has caused some doctors to stop prescribing it, as well as other narcotics. The FDA has found it to be very commonly abused, plus it has habit forming potential for virtually anyone that takes it. Has anyone else heard something about this?
