I took linzess on a full stomach. How is that going to effect me. Is it going to work ## No, that may prevent it from working, it should be taken at least a half an hour, before eating. Most that take it with food have found it not to be effective. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, bloating and diarrhea. Is there anything else I can help with?

I just started taking carbamazepine 200 mg. I was curious as to when this medicine reaches its full benefit? Also, will this medicine cause depression? My capsules are only half full. Is this normal or has someone tampered with them and emptied half out? ## Medication capsules are filled according to dosage, not how full the capsule might be, so if you obtained them from a legitimate licensed pharmacy, there shouldn't be anything to worry about. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, nervousness, and insomnia. Before I fully switched to Suboxone and I ran out of my other meds, I'd be able to take a half of an 8mg Suboxone. I was told to put it in my mouth with a some water and swish it around in my mouth till it dissolved. Then to swallow, and swish even more water in my mouth and swallow again. That worked to make it take effect. Now that I'm seeing a new doctor, I was told to let it dissolve under my tongue with no water. As a result, I've had to go up in dosage to get the same therapeutic effect. Is it possible to get use to your dose SO fast that you need to be upped from 8mgs to 14mgs? I first started having extreme anxiety after I had my first child at 24. I had postpartum depression for 2 months it was horrible I couldn't go out in public I felt dizzy all the time, confused, panicked that someone would hurt my baby, it was horrible. I have full blown sciaticca in my leg and want to know if Neurontin would help the pain as painkillers aren't helping it at all, nor do anti-inflammatories. I need to know what a full yellow Xanax bar weighs. I had 30 yellow bars get wet and become one, I been eating by guessing compared to when I have crushed them. But its not cutting it. My elderly mother has shingles and was give hydrocodone 5mg with 325 mg acetaminophen. Can i give her half a tablet every three hours instead of a full tablet every six hours to cut down on the possibility of dizziness and falling? ## You need to wait 4 hrs because of the tylenol. ## And it really should be dosed as prescribed by her doctor. Has she experienced dizziness from it? If so, you could try giving her half a tablet every 4 to 6 hours, if her doctor approves. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

I am wondering if I should take sulfamth tmp on a full stomach or does it matter? ## There is really no preference listed for this medication, so you can take it whichever way is better for you. Most antibiotics can be effected by some products, such as dairy foods, which may alter the amount of them that can be absorbed, so you may want to try it on an empty stomach to see if that works for you. However, if it causes any type of nausea, then you should take it with food, to help prevent that. Are there any other questions or comments?

My pain mgt MD gives me oxycodone IR 30mg but I cut in two and see if pain goes below 5 of 10 after 1 hr after first dose of half tab, if not I then take the other half. So far since my leg reconstruction surgery 7 weeks ago I have needed the full 30mg every time. Here is my question: Will I get a longer time of pain relief and thus a longer time period of my sense of well being when pain is gone by (1) taking the 30mg at single dose q 4 hrs or by (2)taking 15mg q 2 hrs, of course not taking the 2nd 15mg dose if pain<5? It seems to be cumulative but not in any consistent way that I can get a pattern tracked for optimal benefit? I've been taking per 30's. (Not proud) I took 8 mg suboxone 2 days in a row last dose 31 hrs ago. Will I feel full effects off 100 mg methadone. I usually take that once a week. Don't want it to be a waste. ## Hi Jewel, Because everyone's individual wait period tends to vary based on a variety of different factors, I would encourage you to contact your prescribing doctor about this; especially since s/he should've voluntarily provided you with this information upon prescribing the methadone. Just to add though, my findings suggest that 72hrs seems to be a commonly agreed upon window of time for waiting in between taking suboxone and methadone, in order to feel its full effects. I am on levothyroxine, linzess, omeprazole, ospemifene and (topiramate 2x daily). How am I supposed to space these medications apart so that I receive the full benefit from each one? I have been on methadone for approx 3 months. I'm on 55mgs. I recently heard that suboxone was a much better way of life as an individual coming off opiates (suboxone gives more energy, more focused, kills cravings even when leaving your system) so I, like an idiot, bought 4 of these generic suboxone orange pills, thinking I could convert myself. The night I bought the pills I had taken my dose of methadone around 9am. I took half an orange pill, let it dissolve under my tongue around 9pm. I had a slight stomach ache then fell asleep. i hav problem of frequent dirrhoia,fullness ,blotting after eating,burning in easophagus and not proper evacuation in the mornoing.Recently I had dirrohia after which i had cipro-oz for 5days as prescribed by my physician.After 3-4 days again i had prob of having 3-4 stools accompnied by burning ,bloating,fullness nausia as usual. The Elestrin web site says that the pump will give 100 pumps. There is NO WAY the bottle I have gives that many. I counted and logged the results for 4 months straight. I got 42, 42, 40 and 44 pumps out of the bottles. The one month that I got 44 I tried very hard to not give a full pump each day. For me, that is only 21 days, 21 days, 20 days and 22 days, respectively. I am at a loss that the company claims that a bottle will last for 100 pumps. That would be 50 days or almost 2 months for my, 2 pump a day directions from my doctor. I use one pump per arm per day! Anyone else have this issue? I am stumped about WHY I only get 42-44 pumps per bottle. I have been on Elestrin for several months--the results are the same for me.
