i take atarax and effexor in perscription form. i recieved a pill says it is attarax but looks nothing like my old atarax pills/ the size looks like the zertex but i cant be sure. it is small and round has 60E imbedded on one side and PA on the other side ## I believe the marking you are looking at may actually be 308 PA and, if so, yes it does contain 25mgs of Hydroxyzine, the active ingredient in Aterax. I found this pill on top of one of my cabinets in the house . can you tell me what it might be? ## Could the marking be 5880 V? I actually have these and due to the size and pressing of the imprint, the numbers are difficult to make out on them. However, they contain 25mgs of Spironolactone, which is primarily used as a potassium sparing diuretic and antihypertensive agent. I would advise flushing it down the toilet, or putting it with yucky food trash, so no one will take it by accident or on purpose. It can have nasty side effects.
