It contains the following active ingredients: Cyproheptadine Hydrochloride Vitamin B Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) Cyproheptadine relieves red, irritated, itchy, watery eyes; sneezing; and runny nose caused by allergies, irritants in the air, and hay fever. That said, I'm not exactly sure as to why these specific vitamins are being combined with an allergy medication, but none-the-less it appears to work synergistically. What is Synap Forte given for: ie pain, depression, sleeping disorders ## What are the side effects of synap forte? Could it induce nausea and other gastric upsets? ## Synap Forte contains Paracetamol, Propoxyphene, Diphenhydramine and Caffeine, it is used to relieve pain. Yes, with both the Acetaminophen in it and the Propoxyphene, which is a mild narcotic, it can cause nausea and stomach irritation, as well as possibly ulcerations.
