If you call a doctor and ask them about prescribing such a medication, upfront, most won't even let you get in the door, because they are taught to view that as being drug seeking behavior. Due to the new regulations that were set forth by the DEA last year, you'll most likely need to see a pain management specialist, a general practitioner won't prescribe controlled substances, except in very rare instances, such as when a person has intractable pain from a possibly fatal condition, such as stage 4 cancer. Do you currently have a PCP that might be able to refer you to someone? If so, that might be the quickest and easies way to find the help you need. Can anyone recommend a good doctor in that area?

I am new to the Salem area and went to the Salem's women clinic hoping that I would be able to get the same kind of compassionate care I received in Klamath Falls. I have been twice to see the prescriber and she keeps saying, we will discuss it next time you come in for blood work. First it was if you stop smoking we will talk about it, so I am on a smoking cessation program and now this. But I find it very ironic that they will give botox, lip suction, and offer their nutrition plan at a couple hundred dollars a month, but won't prescribe a diet aid for someone who needs help with appetite suppressant. 3M has discontinued making Norgesic Forte. I am trying to find out why as I have taken this medication for years? I moved to Winston Salem about 18 months ago. I'm currently driving 5 hours each month to see a primary care Dr who prescribes me fentanyl 100mcg x 48 hours + oxycodone 20mg 3day for breakthrough pain (which I feel I need to be bumped up bc since my gastric bypass my stomach only absorbs 1/3 of anybody oral meds). What is the menimum expire days or months of EP Forte ## The only thing I can find on EP forte is that they are considered to be combination medications, so I cannot discover what specifically you are asking about. I also have no idea what the laws are for medications in your country. However, I can tell you in the U.S. that tablets or capsules available by prescription must have a minimum of at least one year expiration at the time of sale. Do you happen to know the ingredients of the medications you are asking about?

The most notable difference is that M30 is made by Mallinckrodt and 114 is made by Mylan Pharmaceuticals. Additionally, M30 tablets have a different set of inactive ingredients (otherwise known as binders/fillers). They contain: FD&C Blue No. 2, stearic acid, lactose monohydrate, and microcrystalline cellulose. The white pills with 114 also contain the following fillers: stearic acid, corn starch, silicon dioxide, microcrystalline cellulose, and lactose monohydrate. Did you doctor offer you any alternative, now that these are no longer available? You can still get pills with Hydrocodone in them, but the Acetaminophen is only 325mgs. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. There's really no way to know what other medication may work well for you. What others have you tried? ## The doctors are COWARDS. They have forgotten their oath to "do no harm". They make me sick.
