I just started .5 Ozempic and I have no appetite. I also have no energy. Having a hard time focusing. Is this common at the start? ## This is from Medline Plus: "Semaglutide injection is in a class of medications called incretin mimetics. It works by helping the pancreas to release the right amount of insulin when blood sugar levels are high. Insulin helps move sugar from the blood into other body tissues where it is used for energy. Semaglutide injection also works by slowing the movement of food through the stomach and may decrease appetite and cause weight loss." The appetite loss seems like a typical thing but I would check with your doc about the fatigue. It could be your body adjusting, especially if you're not digesting food at a normal rate. ## I have been on Ozempic...

I was put on 40mg of Strattera along with my anti depressant Brintellix. I have trouble focusing. I start projects but nevet complete them. I am suffering from depression and go for therapy too. Just wondering if anyone else has taken this medication & if it worked? Dont understand why dr hasn't put me on adderall. ## Strattera doesn't work for everyone that tries it, but neither does Adderall. Most doctors tend to prescribe according to their experience with other patients, which has lead them to learn what commonly works for a specific set of symptoms. The FDA warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, insomnia and irritability. How long have you been taking it?

I was diagnosed with ADD now at the age of 44. Ive been taking Adderall 10mg in the morning and 10mg after 1pm, but I don't see a change in the focusing. I have the side effects nothing else. People tell me that they see a difference in half hr to one hr but I don't, is it the milligrams or the fact that I take a low dosage twice a day? ## Hello, Lizzy! How are you? It could be that you need a higher dosage, or it might be that this isn't the right medication for you to take, not all of them work for everyone that tries them, so you may need to switch to a different one. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, insomnia and nervousness. It also carries the risk of being habit forming. My pharmacy substituted "folbee tab brec" for "virt-vite" 2.5-25-1 mg. Are they the same? If not, what is the difference? ## Hello RLA, Both of these are considered to be vitamins, focusing primarily on B vitamins. The problem with telling you the difference between the two is that there are a lot of variations of both of these vitamins and so giving an exact difference would be difficult. Some versions of the folbee have more vitamin B than other versions and the same can be said for virt-vite. For all intents and purposes though if the doctor feels that the folbee tab brec is enough of a vitamin boost then I see no problem with them substituting it for the virt-vite. I hope this helps.

I have been taking Keppra (3000MG per day) for over 20 years and am beginning to think some of my mental problems may be associated with the drug. I experience depression and a dryness of my mouth very often. Plus I am often confused (trouble focusing) and tired and cannot sleep. ## Hello, Noemi! How are you? Sorry about the problems that you're having. And yes, they could be due to the medication, but it is difficult to say with certainty. Have you consulted your doctor about the issue?

I have noticed that by taking the amphetmine salts (adderall) for many years, my memory has deteriorated. I am 45 years old and that should not be. Has any testing been done to know if I am correct? It is strange. I am focusing & memory is strong w/the medication in my system, but as soon as it wears off, memory is very bad. ## It is most likely due to the withdrawal of it wearing off, according to NIH reports. Other withdrawal effects may include nausea, fever, chills, and anxiety. That is generally how it works with any stimulant medication. What dosage are you currently taking? Are you on any other medications? This one is most commonly used to treat ADHD.

I have been on 40 mg of Viibryd for 2 weeks now. Dreams every night as well. Not all nightmares but quite a few. I am still struggling massively with depression and anxiety. Panic attacks. I severely hate having to go to public places. I have lots of trouble focusing driving too. And my temper is severely scary. I snap so fast. Scared where my life is headed. ## I'm still not right. I used to be so happy and outgoing. Now i panic having to go places. Any little thing that goes wrong or a sudden change in my routine just screws my head up. Then I cannot think. I wonder if Viibryd is right for me or should I ask about Prozac? Paxil was no help either. I just want my life back. Want to be happy again. I have noticed no help with my panic attacks either. ## Hello, Ace! How are you doing...

I need help finding a Psychiatrist in the Eau Claire, Wisconsin area who can prescribe Adderall (or something along those lines), a higher dose of anti-anxiety medication, & an anti-depressant. I am a single mother who is having a VERY hard time focusing right now & dealing with some issues of high anxiety & severe depression with my daughter & her 'father', my EXTREMELY abusive ex-husband, who is now abusing his new family & beginning to start on our teenage daughter. I cannot afford a decent attorney but also cannot receive any help because I make too much money. I need help getting through this tough time & my current Psychiatrist has completely changed from when I first started seeing him about 2 years ago. He used to let me just talk to him about any...
