I have fluid in my ear for over a year now. My NP tried me all the meds she could but nothing as worked. She finally sent me to an ENT and he has tried me on several meds as well as 2 surgerys( in med injection and a tube in the ear, but nothing as worked. I'm scheduled to a Cortizone injection in a couple of weeks(ugh!!), but my NP has just put me on Amox and Singular for an upper respiratory thing,and I thought it might help for my sinuses and maybe the fluid in my ear but no,it hasn't. I'm going run out the singular soon. Would taking some Benedryl with Amox possibly dry up that fluid and give me back my hearing? I need some relief! I really don't want to get that shot in my ear. He did that when he put the tube in and that hurt like hell. If I can avoid that I want to.

Caridzem CD ... is this is the cause of my water retention. My knees are in such pain from water build up. How do I get rid of the fluid. My Dr prescribed Demedex 20mg once a day and aldactone 50mg 2times a day seems like a lot of diuretic too take I have a lot of fluid for some reason last time I took torsimide/demedex my sodium level was very low and I was hospitalized I worry about that is there any natural way to try and lose the fluid I don’t like taking meds to begin with ## Do you know why you are experiencing such fluid retention? why d5imb is given to a child patient who has acute infectious diarrhea with some dehydration? ## To help with the dehydration and prevent it from getting worse. They have to give continuous fluids, since it is the lack of them that causes the dehydration. Was on coumodin since Oct 2015. Personal doctor switched me from coumodin to Xeralto three weeks ago. Since then, I have had to go to ER two times to have my left knee drained. Am away from residence for two months so I have been seeing the orthopedist who is treating me. Had sonogram and MRI done last week. No clots or tears in the knee. This drug is being used to treat Temporal Arteritis. Side effects experienced is rapid weight gain, and swelling of ankles and retention of fluid in body. Interested to hear of anything that has helped others with these side effects. ## I had the same symtoms. Went on a low salt diet and cleared right up. i had a MRI and the Dr. say the fluid in my back is better. what could be wrong ## I assume you mean the spinal fluid? Have you asked the doctor about it? There are quite a few things that can affect it and the volume of it, such as infections, dehydration and etc. However, only your doctor is going to be able to give you a specific answer.

Hello, I was diagnosed with Pneumonia 4 weeks ago, tried Zpack it didn't work then I tried Ampicillin it cleared up the Pneumonia but left me with fluid behind the ear drum the pharmacist suggested Benadryl, I do have another bottle of amoxicillin. I had to take Xarelto due to two sinus venous thrombosis in my head. 8 weeks of heparin injections showed no side effects. But with the first day of taking Xarelto my body reacted by retaining water. Within the first three weeks I gained 24.46 lb hill exercising 5 times a week and eating as I always did. After retaining more and more water I stopped taking it after three months. I started with a weight of 120 lb at a height of 5''8 and now I weigh 157 lb. I have to ad that I started taking it in the middle of March and stopped taking it at the end of June. I only received 2 injections of humira and had horrible loss of body water (peeing constantly). Two weeks later I ended up with a severe kidney infection. I will never get another shot, but I'm experiencing swelling in my legs and want to know if all the side effects will soon go away? I am sticking back with my remicade!
