I have been taking neurontin for 6 months as a result of shingles I had in May. I am taking 600 MG per day. It is always best to make sure they know all medications that you are currently taking. The FDA warns that the flu shot may cause soreness, redness, and swelling at the site of administration. Thus, it is best to rub it for the day, or two, to help prevent unabsorbed vaccine from building up in a bolus under the skin. Has anyone else been on this medication and had their flu shot?
