The doktor discribe me with flupen 250mg 2 tablets every 6 hours (is it normal )and using it since janaury but the wound didn't heal yet ## Flupen contains the active ingredient Flucloxacillin; which is indicated for the treatment of infections caused by susceptible bacteria. It is not intended however, for healing a wound. Just getting rid of the infection. As far as dosing protocols go, this is going to be different for everyone depending on the severity and type of infection. Found two.... what are they? ## Hi Casey, I'm not finding this listed in any of the drug databases, so I cannot confirm the accuracy, but I did find one listing that says it is an over the counter item, used to treat cold and flu symptoms, which contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen, 20mgs of Guaifenesin and 10mgs of Phenylephrine. If that is indeed what it is, it would also explain why it isn't in the databases, as over the counter products are not required to be listed, like prescription medications. I finished 10 days worth of amox-clav 875 and the last day I developed dark urine, a whole body itch, nausea and loss of appetite. This has lasted for 4 days now and is worsening. The pharmacist said to take benedryl, but how dangerous and how common are these side effects? Also, how long will they last? It's very worrisome. STJ is printed on one side only and nothing is on the other side. ## This is an 81mg St Joseph's Aspirin tablet, it is commonly used as a low dosage for children, and taken by some people for blood thinning and heart health. (This is not recommend for children, unless a doctor instructs that it be given to them, especially if they have a cold, or flu, due the risk of Reye's Syndrome, which can be fatal. There many NIH reports about this, as well as warnings on most Aspirin labels.) I am taking dicetel for IBS symptoms. Since I have been taking it I have had problems with a flushed and somewhat inflame face. I have looked and can't find any mention of this as a side effect.
