The doktor discribe me with flupen 250mg 2 tablets every 6 hours (is it normal )and using it since janaury but the wound didn't heal yet ## Flupen contains the active ingredient Flucloxacillin; which is indicated for the treatment of infections caused by susceptible bacteria. It is not intended however, for healing a wound. Just getting rid of the infection. As far as dosing protocols go, this is going to be different for everyone depending on the severity and type of infection. Based on my research though, the usual adult dosage tends to be 250mg 4 times daily; which would amount to taking it every 6 hours. I hope this helps! :) ## My mother is 71 years old. There can be slight fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredients from one generic to another. While most people never notice a difference, if you're sensitive to such changes, or if you've been taking the same one for a long time, it may have a different effect on you. For some people it's too strong if it's higher, for others it may cause unusual side effects and for some like you, they just don't work as well, because they may be a little low. Found two.... what are they? ## Hi Casey, I'm not finding this listed in any of the drug databases, so I cannot confirm the accuracy, but I did find one listing that says it is an over the counter item, used to treat cold and flu symptoms, which contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen, 20mgs of Guaifenesin and 10mgs of Phenylephrine. If that is indeed what it is, it would also explain why it isn't in the databases, as over the counter products are not required to be listed, like prescription medications. This is a dangerous drug! ## Did you also experience diarrhea, while you were taking it? Everything except the body itch, sounds like it could be due to dehydration, which frequently happens when antibiotics cause diarrhea and people don't up their fluid intake to accommodate for the loss. Does anyone know what the pink pill is that is for yeast infection and you only have to take one.......I don't know anything more today. ## Diflucan - your doctor will know what it is and you can only get it with a prescription. Here is a web site - www.yeast-infection-remedies.com/candida-diflucan.html ## Though it can't be definitively said without knowing the markings, Diflucan would also have been my best guess, since it is available in a single dose, pink tablet for treating yeast infections. It contained the active ingredient Fluconazole, and is now also available as a generic under this name and some pharmacies even include it on their $4 discounted medications formulary. Are there any questions or comments? There are more Diflucan details available here.

Then they gave me the oval orange 20ml same dose .I can tell the difference it's not as good and does not keep me focus . can someone tell me if there is a difference... ## Yes, there can be fluctuations in generic medications. The FDA does allow them to differ, in the amount of the active ingredient, but as much as plus or minus 20%. They consider this an acceptable therapeutic window. Problems, however, can arise, because they only have to measure against the name brand, not other generics, so one may have a slightly lower amount than another one. For some people, the difference isn't noticeable and they have no problems, with it. But, when someone is sensitive to a medication, an...
