Hi there, My baby is 5months old. He's got a blocked nose and keeps coughing. He's got flu & cold symtoms. what can I use as he's very restless and he's chest are weasing when he drinks. ## Hello, Ann! How is your son doing? At his age, you really shouldn't give him anything, without his doctor's approval. It could be very dangerous to give him the wrong medication, or the wrong dosage. Has it cleared up, or is he still sick? ## My great grandson is 5 months old, cold symptoms lots of flem, runny nose, coughing, wheezing, Dr perscribed Prednizone. never heard of a baby getting prednizone? Is it really safe.

I'm on lisinopril for high blood pressure. I have a runny nose, cough, sneezing, and would like to know if i can take NyQuil cold and flu? ## Hi Wanda, According to the University of Maryland Medical Center (umm.edu / drug interaction tool), there are no interactions listed between Lisinopril and Nyquil Cold & Flu. This is not to say that no interactions exist, so it's always a good idea to double check with your prescribing doctor first; but I would probably feel safe with this knowledge if it were me. I hope you get around to feeling better soon! I'm actually just getting over a similar set of symptoms myself (which I attributed to being a nasty sinus infection); and I found that oregano oil and garlic were staple items in my recovery due to their potent antibacterial ...

In 2003, I was given Neurotin to use for a period of six months. Shortly after starting taking the drug, I developed a cold/flu symptom. I had a terrible running nose and the nose was always blocked. I was breathing through the mouth. Now, even after completing the dose over the six months period, the cold/flu is still persisting. It is almost four years now. My nose is always running, sometimes I finished a roll of tissue paper in a day. The nose is always stuffy and blocked, forcing to breath through the mouth. I also devloped constipation symptom. I persistently pass gas through the mouth, an average of once every one and half minutes. Hello, I've been taking cephalexin to treat an arm infection and I've had an itchy/runny nose, sneezing, and mild headaches since I started taking it. I don't see this as a side effect. Has anyone else had this response? It seems like a mild allergic reaction. ## Hello, Raquel! How are you? It's possible that you have just caught a cold or are having an allergy attack to something environmental. It would be very unusual for an oral antibiotic to manifest an allergy with those symptoms. Have you consulted your doctor?

My husband currently has the flu and we are questioning if the two medications can be taken together. ## Hello, Shelly! How are you? Your husband should check with his doctor, first. Learn more Bactrim details here. Colds and Flu are caused by viruses, so there is no effective treatment for them, they really just need to be left to run their course, though you can use some remedies to help alleviate the symptoms they may cause. I'm currently nursing my 2 week old baby and woke up with a cold. I was wanting to take Theraflu and continue feeding my baby with breastmilk that I had stored. That said, however, Thera Flu contains Acetaminophen, Chlorpheniramine and Pseudoephedrine. Some formulations may contain Phenylephrine and Dextromethorphan and you did not specifically say which one you were talking about.
