good day, can i have have a list of fish oil supplement that could be a good choice and as well as inexpensive and available in the philippines? i am 21 years old. thank you. ## I'm sorry, this site does not manufacture, nor sell any products. As to what might be available for you, I have no way of knowing that, since we are based in the U.S. I can tell you, however, from what my own cardiac doctor told me to purchase, that it is usually recommended to take 2000mgs a day and you should make sure that whatever you purchase contains at least 700mgs of Omega-3 Fatty Acids, both the EPA and DHA varieties. Have you tried asking a local chemist to recommend one? ## I am not a doctor but I recently switched to high dose DHA in fish oil. A serving should contain at least 500 mg of dha alone...

Can lvasa increase risk or cause Gout??? ## From what I am reading, the purines that are present in some types of fish, which can worsen or cause gout should not be in the purified fish oil that it is the supplements, so it should not be a problem to use them. Has your doctor advised you to do so?

Fish Oil ## For anyone else seeking information on this, the brand name was actually Lovaza, a prescription only, esterified fish oil product approved by the FDA to lower severely high triglyceride levels. This is not something available over the counter, since it is highly purified, very potent and has passed the rigorous FDA testing procedures. Are there any comments or questions about it?

Does anyone here take Fish Oil or Vitamin E? My holistic doctor prescribes it, she keeps pushing me to take the fish oil. I will go see her next week, but I've read it can thin your blood so is it safe to take with Xarelto? Also I take Arginine but I showed it to 2 of my doctors and they ok'd it. It's really good for the heart, but it does say on the box don't take it if you've had a heart attack. My chiro is really pushing me to remain on the Fish Oil but it does thin out the blood and so is it safe to continue it? I know my VA doctor a while back put me on fish oil so maybe I should get with her and see what she thinks now that I'm taking Xarelto. ## Hello, Bri! How are you? Yes, fish oil is great for the heart and cardiovascular system and can be taken as long...

to how many % does fish oil contain vitamin b12? I am in need of a tablet which is rich is vitamin b12. Plz suggest me mulivit which is good for hair as well. ## No, Fish Oil does not contain B12, it is a completely separate supplement. And I don't know what multivitamins are available on the market there for you to purchase, but for hair health and to help with hair loss or to prevent it, you'll want to look for something with Vitamin E in it and Biotin. Your doctor or chemist should be able to help you find something and always check with your doctor to make sure that it's safe for you take them. Is there anything else I can help with?

Hi, i've been taking multivitamins and fish oil for almost 2 weeks. Today my doctor prescribe me Daneuron which consists of B1, B6 & B12. Can someone tell me if i can take multivitamins and fish oil while takin Daneuron? ## You should double check with your doctor, before combining them all. There are certain vitamins, such as B12, which can be dangerous if you take too much of them. Do you know the amounts in them? ## should not overdose with vitamins unless doctor says it's ok ## Is it advisable for heart patients to take multivitamins (such as what's mentioned above) for my neck and shoulder pain? My Dr. gave me Gabanet 300 and Neuro-B for a month.

I was waiting in may on 28 to receive my period. It didn't come. Every now and then I have a little blood in my discharge. I started taking spring valley fish oil with D3 2000IU (1200mg) heart, immune & bone.. in may on the 5. I'm worried because I never missed my period before besides when I was 13. Please don't mention the doctors. I need to get my period back. Doctors don't really do much but make matters worst ## Hello, Kristy! How are you? It may be due to the vitamin D in this, since it is actually a type of hormone, not an actual vitamin, so it can affect the other hormones in your body. It might just be affecting you too much. Have you tried stopping it to see what happens? ## I have stopped. I can feel my body recovering slowly. I thought I was missing some ...

Good Day, I am just wondering if I can take contraceptive pills, myra e 400IU, and Caruso's natural fish oil 1000 at the same time, and what specific time can I take them each? Thank you so much for your response. ## Yes, you can take the supplements with your contraceptive, and there is no specific time you need to take any of them, but you should be consistent so that you are always taking them 24 hours apart, so pick a time that will be most convenient for you to do so. The side effects of oral contraceptive pills may include nausea, dizziness, headache, acne, blood clots, and irregular bleeding. Is there anything else I can help with?
