I get severe headaches/ migraines that last for days with NO relief unless I took the blue pills fiorecet with butalbital caffeine AND codiene. After years of taking it and never getting addicted. I never even asked for an increase in strength or frequency! My stupid Dr. decides to stop it and give me massive doses of ibuprophen (advil) saying it would work the same, I reminded him that I had started seeing HIM because nothing otc worked! He said I was having rebound headaches from them. Well, I found out that for me, it was the butalbital that caused the rebound headaches not the codiene which was the only part of that pill combo besides the caffeine that helped. I now have a prescription for straight codiene (codeine sulfate) and it WORKS! I take 1 I don't get drowsy and it takes ...
