Finding A Doctor

I was seeing a Dr. for 3 yrs. that was prescribing Adderall for me ..it changed my life for the better ! The Dr. quit his practice and I have not been able to find a Dr. who will prescribe this drug ! I was taking a very low dose . I thought I would just do without and see how it goes ..it's been 6 months and I can feel myself slipping into depression and lethargy much like I've lived my whole life and I know I don't have to feel this way anymore ! I exercise ..and overall take very good care of myself. ## Adderall is not used to treat depression and lethargy, it is used to treat ADHD and doctors are not going to prescribe it for you without such a diagnosis. I lost my job a few months ago & am in the process of foreclosure...also take care of elderly parent....tried SSRI's, & many non narcotic meds...to no avail. Feel desperate, yrs. ago was on Klonopin & it worked for a long period of time! I live on Long Island & am now desperate enough to find any doctor who can help!

I have had 5 knee surgeries im only 26.... I had two x-rays done by two different doctors here in Appleton WI, one said I have arthritis in my lower back, another one recently told me it is osteoarthritis. The pain is getting worse. But not one of these doctors prescribed pain medication. The 2 months of physical therapy ( the 1st doctor set me up with ) did NOT help at all, and after this last doctor telling me to do the same thing, I gave up, now hoping someone on here knows of a caring doctor here in the Fox Valley area. Going into my 8th week of treatment... Not too many side effects. My surgically induced osteoarthritis stopped 3 weeks into treatment. Came down with a cold and sinus infection a week ago; getting rid of it naturally - no herbs. I have another problem, the Gastrologist I was seeing in my primary care group practice decided to leave. A lot of drama going on there. My virus has been undetected after 3 weeks. Starting my 3rd month next week. The good thing is I have the form from my doctor for the blood work after 8 weeks. I have all the copies of my bloodwork and my primary has my other medical things on file. I'm getting a new doctor so I can be monitored. I was seeing a Dr for 3 years and never had one problem with her now she is dismissing me for not being able to answer my phone one month but they never did call my alternative number so now I am going to be out of meds and don't know what to do? I have been on 16mg of Subutex a day and I need to find a new doctor fat will prescribe subutex. I am in desperate need of finding a doctor who will prescribe subutex in wv. I cannot take suboxone for it makes me very depressed and suicidal. If anyone can help me please find someone that can help me. I cannot go to another treatment center bc I don't drive and I can only find rides for doctor appointments if its once or twice a month only. I am currently on subutex now but it costs way too much. I just moved to the Chicagoland area - northwest suburbs, actually. I am looking for a good pain specialist who is not afraid to prescribe meds, yet is also willing to try other things that I have not already been exposed to. I'm Chris Robert 55-years old, and 25-years ago I was a scaffold builder, I fell 80 feet off my scaffold that's the same as falling from a 6-story building.. Good regular patient needs loving home. Have been on 3mgs qhs of Alprazolam for nearly 20 years. Consistently stable with recent improvements (panic/anixety/depression). Clinic became anti-benzo and wouldn't help find another provider. In serious withdrawal for days now w/SI. No history of EoTH or anything else. Just need to get back to living. I had been on hydrocodone for approximately 13 years until I had to change doctors. My new doctor didn't believe in pain medication. I have been off hydrocodone for nearly 3 years and my pain is getting really bad again. One doctor prescribed Tramadol but now that is a narcotic and the doctor will not prescribe it anymore. I suffer from fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis, scoliosis, myofacial pain and I can't believe none of my doctors will prescribe me something for pain.
