I have been in chronic pain for years I have taken several types of pain meds orally but got little or no relief my brother uses the fentanyl patches and has great results so I would like to try the fentanyl patches myself so I would like to try the fence no patches myself but I have no clue what doctor would prescribed for me so I would like to know if there is a doctor in Hattiesburg Mississippi that would prescribe them for me

severe back pain and fractured wrist ## I'm sorry, but we have no way of knowing what any doctor will, or will not prescribe. You also may run into a problem if you are trying to get them to prescribe a specific medication. Most doctors will be reluctant to do so, because when someone asks for a specific medication, especially a controlled substance, they consider it to be drug seeking behavior. I live in Myrtle beach, SC and I am in desperate need of a doctor who writes for methadone. I have many physical disabilities and my family doctor was writing it for me as I am unable to afford going to the clinic every day. I am willing to travel. For pain. I've had two back surgeries and am still in pain and numbness. I have been taking my pain meds as needed. My doctor wrote another prescription.butthey both said 1 every 12 hours as needed so I took them as needed for pain. I am in somerset Pa, I was on Xanax for 7 years, this was the only thing my family doctor found that worked for me. You may also run into a problem if you go to a new doctor and are asking for a specific medication, because many doctors consider that to be drug seeking behavior. The best thing you can do is make sure they have all of your medical records, so they can see what has and hasn't worked for you in the past and they can base their decision on that.
